BAD NEWS> ive installed it.. got it done in less than 30mins without removing the rear trim.. but when i turn on ignition nothing happens ..its like power plug isnt connected or something so i double checked them and all the plugs are in ..cant even get the unit to release the dvd inside! Usually the JDM one..as soon as u open the cubby flap the nissan screen loads up and some japanese writing too.. Did your newly installed UK dvd sat nav work immediately upon starting the car?? any ideas or help on this?? am i supposed to disconnect the car battery for few mins so to re-set the system maybe? _________________

Not convinced by this.. id stick to a regular pop charger. I wonder why its sucha low price for so much hp gain?! Pls try it if u want..prove us sceptics wrong

Thats great..cheers! Just need to find a way to get to those screws..impossible to get your hand in there.. need L shaped screw driver or ratchet. Also ..dont have any program CD with it.. just the map X0.6.. fingers crossed it still works (can any nissan program cd off ebay work for initial setup?)

Im gona attempt to fit my new sat nad dvd player tonight... i can see what u mean by needing to unscrew the dvd player using ratchet from sides.. but connecting the cables..i didnt get why i need to remove the passenger or driver door trim and side interior?! .. i thought can just access the rear of the dvd player by unclipping the trim bihind the rear speakers? Can you clarify for me.. cheers.

Thats a little different.. this is a wind breaker..it sticks on top of the bodywork, the badge's got a lot less surface area and in its located in an indent on the bonnet. Anyone used same tape to stick on your rear spoilers? lol

Stuck on with tape?! i dont like the idea of that.. at 100+mph i can imagine it coming off and flying thru the air like a helicopter blade and going right thru the windscreen of the person behind me!

Fraid everyone does it.. its not an expensive item and fair enough he saw a bargain and wants to make a profit on it.. i dont mind people using my photos (Though if it was me, id probably ask if its ok to use previous owners photos before doing it to avoid situations like this).

PS sorry i only read this posting after i bought it.. the guy said that the Jap (JDM) dvd sat nav that u saw last time on ebay.. he's still got it somewhere there, but yes its non functional in uk.

HI.. i did call them.. the bloke who answered the phone said its from uk primera and now its in the post, on its way to me Though.. i will double check with them again tmr just incase.. cos if its jap player wudnt be any good to me at all.. i already got one in my car.

I will also be placing orders with Phil in Nov. So many things i need now and definately think the website idea is really important..looking forward to its launch - sooner the better.
