oh and

you can often get stock systems off ebay , there are two on there now, go for approx £80 - £100, people often change them for upgrades difficult to say how long they last, it varies a lot but @ 65k it is probably getting tired i would be more concerned if it has had a new clutch as that will be going if it hasnt been changed and its a lot more costly than an exhaust hth

totally agree stew, that was my first meet and my son and i loved it, everyone is very friendly and its as much about people as it is the cars, there is no competitive edge to the day at all (except the squinty reg plate competition - which shire won), i thought it might be a bit anoraky with people going round with vernier guages, explaining what thread size they used on the number plate bolts how wrong was i all in all very relaxed great cars great people great food great roads nuff said...................... if you're thinking of going then DONT think just GO

Do you have any idea on oil temps? The Castrol RS is now known as the Castrol Edge Sport here http//www.opieoils.co.uk To be honest you can do much better, take a look at the ester based oils of the Silkolene Pro S and the Motul 300v.
