That why I bought the scooby. 4WD and winter tyres are essential as I live in Cumbria.

If there is a silver scooby on the quay with a TUG related number plate on the quay I am there.

Lexx and I are at Commercial Quay if you are ever passing. We work on the harbour tugs there.

Sent them a mail today and I am hopeful that they will still do locals discount.

I have sent out some e-mails to check on prices. The thinking is that the races wont be too busy but the hotels and B&Bs will still try it on. Nearer the time I will post about advanced tickets if anyone fancies the racing. I have had a chat to the pub and they will manage to cater for us. Please book though it will be busy. Just out of interest, the Rose and Crown still has a room. If anyone wants it mention me though or you will get the races price.

I would like to welcome Neilp to the moderating team. A long time member with a great car who deserves the move up.

At least I can usually pick a few winners here so that will help pay for it.

I will update the first post soon. So....... Thats a days racing on the Friday. Pub for food in the evening YOU WILL NEED TO BOOK. Saturday a drive out or the steam train and steamers. Saturday evening at the hall, BBQ, Toyah and The Stumble. Sunday, show and shine and then races again. I guess this works.
