+1 You've just reminded me Ming, the Flying Turd's head gasket was gone too (very shortly after I got it) and I always had to have the heater on hot - when it went cold I knew it was time to top up the water Same for me in my Triumph Vitesse convertible the joy of getting to where you want to go without having to stop, wait for the steam to disperse then fill up with water from the container thet was ALWAYS in the boot.

I think there were only about five of us at the end. I suspect August is not too brilliant time to hold a meet like this, holidays, kids off school etc. I must say I am disappointed in not meeting with the guys and would be well up for a meet before the end of this year. next year seems sooooooooooooooo far away.

I have only ever paid the excess - direct to the windscreen company, the insurance should cover the rest. Incidentally, Autoglass have direct links to the insurance companies. You quote your insurance number and they tell you if you are covered and how much you will have to pay.
