i drove a boxster s and really didn't enjoy it, it was so dull!! I see them all the time, i park my car in the consultants car park at the hospital and you really do see some very dull looking cars! there isn't a single Z in there though! i haven't driven a Z yet but i know i will love that!!

thanks guys! i'll see when they get here, we thought that the mounts were missing but assumed you just use the OEM mount, as with so many others kits, i'll cross all my fingers and my toes!!

there s is some generic info on the bilstein website. if any one has installed a similar kit of any kind... can you spot anything obvious missing, the seller doesnt know

I just wanted to let you all know my little Mini went today - i finally sold it to make a place for the new Z!! I'm so excited - but i had a little tear! Is that wrong?? Mind you i had a £303 bill from BMW for front brake discs, and a seat belt retentioner wiring loom before it went! Although the Z arrived in Southampton on Wednesday so Yippppeeee!! Hope to pick it up next week!

Pablo's mum owns a hotel in Chamonix and a restaurant in La Thuile in Italy, so we are there all the time! Do be careful with regards to being timed on the toll booths, we have seen it many times. Be warned if they catch you on the motorway you will be escorted off the road to the next village to withdraw cash! They will not let you go even if you plead that you have no money they will take you to a cash point. Speed cameras are front facing - warn you a little before and blind you when you flash! if you leave the country without paying a speeding fine, they will not allow you back in before you have paid! so there is no getting away with it! Make sure you have your driving license, we once parked and got a parking fine from a police officer, we didn't have our driving license on us so they fined us! Be extra cautious doing the mont blanc tunnel run, watch your speed! there are an awful a lot of mudslides there too, we came home last week and the tunnel had been closed for ages!

i don't think they are chav, just depends what you go for! I had S COOPER on my mini? on my new Z i will have my initials and EAR because i work with ears and also looks like claire bear! as long as it doesn't say anything like Phat or similar i see no problem!

Does the respray include your kit too? because if so i think you would be looking at £3k +. to be honest you can make it as cheap as you like but you will compromise on quality! we have a body shop down here that will do a full respray for £800 to £1000, its good but does not include inside the doors or engine bay and seals are all left on....so quite messy!!

you could have any colour, our body shop is fab, get a real deep purple by the house of colors its truely amazing! you could have lime green with a yellow or gold or even orange pearl of flake which would tie in your interior! House of color will even send you colour samples and pots of flake and pearl! they even design your own colour so its unique!

generally speaking chipsaway are fantastic, the guy down here is super! We had some bits of the vette done. If you don't like it then don't pay. we got told that in the past if people don't pay they can just wipe the paint right back off because it takes several hours to completely harden. once its fully dried and hardened it is obviously stuck fast! we would highly recommend them

Ha ha yes i was quite suprised when i logged in tonight and saw 5 pages!! The vette went round corners ok! The roads down here are too narrow though, being on the right hand side of the car as a passenger with traffic coming rapidly towards you when it feels like you are sat in the middle of the road is quite terrifying! yes - funny enough we love White, really wanted a white mini but its pepper white and looks like gone off milk. Pablo swapped the s15 as soon as the white one became available
