  8. Granted mate Phil does take time out to talk and discuss about things which I said, but think its unfair to advertise them as the best in the U.K as there are companies out there who do just the same if not better and yet dont get mentioned. I think once the website is up with the prices it will be better but again there is still mix up on understanding when it comes to labour charges. What I was quoted and the final outcome price were two different things. But thats life I learnt from my lesson. Also from website buying will be good as you will have itemised billing which I have never had before. Dont get me wrong ESR are good, but they are not the only ones out there in the UK. Perhaps the best customer service I ever had was Kudos Automotive by far, and Nemesis-uk, and there are quite a few that are feeling the same to. The feedback is positive for all those companies, so that suits me "best in the uk" is a matter of opinion which is down to personal experience and is an opinion which everyone is entitled to on this forum (except sarnie) i could give some not so positive feedback for those mentioned but i'm sure it was a "blip" in their untarnished reputation which was resolved eventually Totally understand bud but when he then states that its the only company he has ever used, its slightly misleading to new comers, thats all I was getting at. It most probably is a blip, but its one that has still not been rectified just seemingly left and forgotton about. Its water under the bridge and I wish them all the best in the future as they work their butts off, but not to forget about the other companies who also provide equally good services.

I don't see those guys on here doling out free advice day in day out. In fact Kudos are so low profile I've got no idea what they do. they will be on here soon, I found the others on other forums, also some of the other sponsors on here give sound advice too. Remember before we started calling Phil, he was not on here that much, but over time we as a forum built a relationship with him and he is on here more. Same goes with the others, start trying them out and it will be the same as the forum provides more sales. Just dont think its fair having a monopoly supplier on here when others provide equally as good service if you give them a try. I have and can honestly say that I highly recommend them as well

To be honest I really wouldnt go to a 100bhp shot just to be ultra safe on UK cars unless you remap the engine which will cost over £1000, 75 is the safest and most enjoyable factor to be fair. Wizard of Nos also reuse fire extinguish bottles so they dont look that attractive for show purposes, but they are nonetheless just as good as NX, but NX comes with more gadgets for cooler and if not safer performance. But it comes down to choice, 75shot on either systems will give the same output, all depends who sets it up and how its setup. As far as longetivity on the engine, it would probably outlast Turbo or SC mainly because it is not a continuous stress on the engine, only now and again, unless you use it everytime continous everytime you drive then it paralels the stress of a turbo and driving that hard all the time

To be honest mate and no disrespect I think the argument swings both ways they are as good as each other. Am I right in thinking the Wizard of Nos dont use braided lines? I Know they have better solenoids but there are pros and cons with both systems, In the states they wouldnt touch Wizard of Nos yet in the UK they are praised. So either are as good as each other after my research and have seen the results of both systems dynod and they are few and far between

nice one, although I gotta say I prefer the NX shark nossel that combines the fuel and nitrous before actual entry into the delivery pipe than the dual entry, but nether the less nice piece of work

cheers bud just changed it, yeh post up pics, what system do you work with?
  16. would have to disagree mate, he is good but there others out there who are equally as good, for example nemesis and kudos are just as good and in parts even better I had a great time when I was at ESR and they were very helpful but one of the problems I had was knowing the actual prices of stuff, kept changing from day to day as well as quotes for work they gave me. What I was quoted and what the final bill came to were two completely different things the work was spot on nether-the-less and they are still offer a great service, just found it hard to find the connection between the price quoted and the price actually charged. On a positive note they do spend time listening to things you want and questions and sourcing products for you, and hospitality up there is great make you feel really welcomed
  17. best form of defense imo, not illegal to carry and just as good as knuckle dusters, they have come in really handy for me, you clench your fist and have them sticking out between your fingers then punch em in the face, works a treat If the figt is one on one then fight fair, if more or they have a weapon then you want to be able to finish one as quick as possible to stop the next guy hitting ya,
  18. sarnie is right way over priced bud
  19. Hya mate have a look on pistonheads and autotrader and see what everyone else is selling them for privately, then put your add up to compete with them prices. Get some really nice shots of the car and keep it very clean, on day of viewing. Emphasis facts that need to emphasised, i.e full service history, bigger bhp, 2 years warranty left, road tax, all these help highlight the attractiveness of buying your car over others. If you need help knowing what to put give me a pm bud When I was selling mine, the company who did some work on modifying the car were interested and offered me 18k for it. Which I thought was a joke considering I spent a fortune with them modding it, they then told me they were buying cos they were gonna sell it for around 24-25k, which was nice of them, so i thought sod this ill sell it myself and did Always expect bottom dollar price from a trader as they need to resell and make a profit. General rule of thumb is if you find out what traders are selling at then knock between 1k and 2k of to sell at private to compete against them as people buy privately as they are cheaper than trade. Be prepared for time wasters and tyre kickers, also if people organise an RAC or AA check on your car when an inspector comes let them as this is as good as a deposit because it will usually cost them over 100 quid and guarentees them the car is fine and has no hidden history, the check takes up to two hours, make sure the inspector is who he says he is and never give him your keys, anything he needs opening i.,e bonnet or boot he asks you first and you open. Cos car is a two seater be wary of people coming to view in big groups, always have someone indoors who can call police should worse happen, this is in extreme cases and very rare but worth mentioning. iIve never had anyone try hyjacking me , but then I carry golf Tees with me so I can shove it in their eyes and bite of their nose and smack em one should they try, whether they are polish or russian mafia or not I really couldnt give a f%&k they all bleed and scream the same way Be polite and helpful, dont come across as a hard push salesman over the phone. They called you up, be relaxed and if they are interested they will come to view no worries, if they seem in two minds give them time to think, if you come over strong it will only push them away. And finally, watch out for scams. Not racist but John Little who emails you saying he would like to arrange bank transfer the money to you, without seeing the car or asking any questions, you can bet your life is a scam and for the bonus point is nigerian. Email back saying thats great please give me your bank details your birth date and your mothers maiden name and Ill be happy to give you mine kinda response, and you will be sure not to hear from them again. And tell companies who call you saying we have a buyer if you pay us 99 pounds we will sell your car if we dont you get your money back, to **** off as they are just as bad as scammers as you never see your money back and they never do sell your car for you. Hope this gives you an insight mate, good luck with the sale.. Jay
