  7. Hi and welcome mate Yeh that car is lovely, I think all it is is a body kit on perhaps a new 2007 350z model. Body kit I think is the Nismo version 2 could be wrong mate. The older 350z pre 3006 have more torque however, but the newer ones have more bhp Id import from japan as are lhd and then get it delimited by big phil
  8. Sweet thats the route Im planning to go down. A guy who use to work for TDI for 15 years set up his own company and knows his stuff, he has his own dyno as well
  9. Aparently not sure if this is true, since 2001 it was passed that if a garage uses genuine nissan oem parts they can service your car and still stamp the book. If this true I want to know as I dont want to take my car to be Serviced my Nissan anymore as I think they over charge for sod all, they say they are servicing the car but all they do apparently is have some spotty 18 year old do an oil check and thats it. Am thinking of going down the specialist route of using someone who will genuinly look after my car and do full examination on the set up especially after engine chip and so forth and get them to stamp my book. I know it will still count as a service check, but do you think this will hinder sales on the resale of the car if seen thats its not done by Nissan?

  17. found out one of the screws on the plenum cover was lose, hence excess air escaped causing a drop in the rev monitor, getting it all fixed and sealed again tomo cheers all
  18. After having the nismo exhaust, high flow cats and plenum spacer installed, I noticed that my rev metre when in parked, idles funny, I sat for 5 mins watching it as it fluctuated between 1000 rev then drop to 500 (when I thought it was going to turn itself off) then back up to just under a 1000 revs again constantly. Is this normal after such mods or is this telling me something? My brother just took his car to Nissan and they said there was some air escaping from where the plenum had been inserted and that it will need to be rethreaded as the screws wont go back in. On mine I opened the bonnet turned on but cant hear any whistling noise of air coming out from the engine bey, just hear the note of the engine dropping below the rev then going back up again
  19. You my friend are a LEGEND i think the ages are as some of you said becoming more of a range now, Im 26 got my First Z at 25, my Brother is 33 and got his recently. I think its a car that is appreciated over all ages. perhaps the reason for why there is an increasing number of younger owners is down to the price being made somewhat affordable to some. However in contrast if we were to do the average age of Z owners in the States i think it will be quite the contrast
  20. £63.10 for 2 bits of plastic?! TBH thats a cracking price for the Nismo ones I doubt you will be able to find cheaper I got the cheaper ones from the states but have seen the Nismo ones in person and they are better quality and will last alot longer. Nice one mike, am dead envious
  21. I wouldnt worry about it if you are mate, you sound alot younger and the 350z knock 10 years of your life so really you are 38 Its true there have been many calculous studies by Britains top scientist on it Sorry Nixy it seems this doesnt have the same effect on you (just kidding lol)
  22. Nothing wrong with being over forty mate, Just remember to take your dentures out before you drive (just kidding )
