  1. Pearce Brothers, Yate. Have a word with Mike in the Bodyshop. He will do you a good deal
  2. Yeh you're right Dan - they hold all the cards because of the exclusivity deal. Si - i think thats the route i'll have to go down... i've just been on their website and it explained your option of paying off your remaining balance... but if i did that now it'd be £420. However, i could be wrong but i think after 9 months you can start reducing your tariff incrementally, so it might take me another 4 months before i can get it down to £15 a month - but then i can pay it all in one go... so still a 7 month wait...! Balls. Remember that once you buy out your contract you still have to buy the phone on a new contract. Looking at the numbers just getting a PAYG might still be cheaper i.e. Contract buy-out = £420, 32GB 3GS on 35pm = £274.23 = total outlay of £694 AND tied into new 18 month contract PAYG = 538.30 - Job done. For most people at the mo if you are on a low pm charge i.e. <£50 then PAYG works out best. Phones4U will buy out your contract giving you the money in cash/cheque for the rest of the time the contract has to run as long as you take out a new phone contract with them. Therefore, lets say you pay £40 a month at the moment and you have 4 months to run (easy to do the calculations), they will give you £160 cash/cheque. You could then give that phone to a family member to use up the 4 months remaining. Take out an 02 contract for the new phone. Job done
  3. Sorry to hear you still have problems. Really should not be happening on a car of this standard. If problems continue let me know as I have a contact at Tochigi.
  4. This code was supplied to me by my Nissan Dealer, further to my e-mail to them asking the question. PM me if you are still interested and will give you names of people to talk to on this

Balls. Phones4U will usually buy out your contract if you still have time to run. Can they get one for you from 02 or do you have to go direct to an 02 Shop?
  6. Cheddar Gorge.................where the original Cheddar Cheese came from
  7. Did you get the knocking noise sorted in the end? What was it?
  8. Schuey is not The Stig. If you are in any doubt, compare a standard photo of The Stig to that of the physique of Schuey..................not even close I think there are 3 Stigs actually.
  9. Legally you have to, regardless of whether you're going to drive at night or not. For the sake of a few quid and given how easy they are to fit and remove, it seems daft not to. I know - I've got some black vinyl at home I can wack that on! I know the French Police dont mess about! Beavis your right I could save £1.50 by driving on the right Watch the speed limits. One of my friends got an on the spot fine for overtaking and going to fast coming back from Le Mans this year.
  10. But do you agree with it? Sadly, I probably do Your future hubbie is a lucky chap

  12. No matter how much security there is on a car, if someone is determined enough they will get in/take it. There are some nasty people out there
  13. Very nice . It does not matter if it is modded or standard car. A clean shiny car always looks great. TLC pays off
  14. Sometimes I wish I still had my roadster
  15. Two issues here: 1) General Anaesthetic. Never heard of not being able to drive for 3 days because of a GA. However if this is what you have been told you must do as they say. 2)Knee Op. As mentioned earlier by other members, you may not be able to control the footpedals properly. It takes time to get total movement back, especially when trying to do an emergency brake. You need to be happy that you can control a car before you drive again. This may take considerably more than 3 days. If you are in any doubt DO NOT DRIVE. If you need any advice on this be sure to speak with your GP. Better safe than sorry.
