  1. I hope you look at good at 39 - (40 in a few weeks) but of course YOU WON'T!!!!!
  2. The other choice was a dross team - like a pool type thing! At least I get to learn all about planning I suppose....... And Louis - less of the Mommy!!! I'm not that old!
  3. can't believe Tim hasn't answered that one, he has a photo of every single button in his car!
  4. it doesn't exist anymore. This is the better option - the other choice was worse!
  5. oi! I'm a planner , (self-employed) and more often than not helping out those who have the 'investigators' knocking on their door. But I can understand the description of the office set-up having worked in Local Authorities some while back. No doubt you've been told of the enforcement officers that have been killed or shot at by trangressors not taking kindly to having to pull down the houses they have built where they shouldn't? They're not exactly welcome at travellers sites either I actually work for the ombudsman so i've gone from a wide variety of complaints to just planning. Maybe I should move to Wales!
  6. Not only have I just suffered the stress of moving house and have a whole house to 'do up' but I have also moved within my office at work. I have been put in a specialist team in the bloody attic of the building. I am working more closely with our investigators working purely on planning issues (boring). So instead of working in a support staff room where we have a laugh and a bitch and a joke etc I am sat in the same room as two investigators and am having to actually.............WORK!!!! Nightmare! The bloke sat at the next desk is snorting flem up all day and munching stuff out of his drawer like a hamster and now I can't have my radio on either! Not to mention my pc is on view to all - so how am I going to surf now!
  7. Just read this - so sorry Stuey - hope you're ok.
  8. Hi Guys. Just to let you know I am NEVER moving house again without a removal company - i was in tears by the end of the day! Got settled in nicely now but still lots of boxes to unpack and clothes everywhere as I've gone from a dressing room to not a single wardrobe!!! Most importantly I totally sorted out the garage yesterday and I've had someone round to clear the overgrown drive so I can actually get the car round the back of the house now! 2 new bathrooms and a cloakroom arriving in 2 weeks - 16 new windows and 2 doors in 3 weeks. Then we start knocking a kitchen wall down! No internet at home yet - it's still packed away and I haven't decided which provider to use this time either! When I'm up and running with the computer I'll put some 'before' pics up and you can all see the transformation as it happens! P.S Green toilet hinges are not nice!
  9. I am sneaking a quick look on the forum while the hubbie is out getting some ciggies. I'm supposed to be doing some essential internet stuff while my computer is out of action at the new house and he has let me use the precious work vodafone plug in! So 229 new posts, too many for me to read but looks like you are all being fairly good! Be nice to my mate Markie who has just joined! Catch you all next week when I'm back at work! See ya! P.S - Lots of work to do here - (ask Markie - he kipped in one of the worse rooms last weekend)! But its VERY quiet!!!!
  10. Hi there - can't help with your problem but great to have another girl on board - especially one with the same name as me!
  11. There's lots more room and a nice big driveway with room for about 10 Zeds!
  12. well I guess you can want as many cars as you like?
  13. Hi there - Charisma is one thing it DOES have lots of! Just get one bought!
  14. not to mention your mum's new porsche!
  15. I'm quite sad to be leaving but this was put back into perspective at the weekend when the brats enormous trampoline arrived next door!
  16. how much!!!!!!! Ouch! Whereabouts is it located and how did the water get in?
  17. Ha Ha Is it wrong to want the sort the garage out first?
  18. Well chaps, I'm moving to my new double garage (sorry house) on Thursday. Today is my last day at work and I have a fortnight off. Haven't sorted the broadband connection out at the new house and I'm already cut off at the old house so will probably not be around until I'm back at work unless I do a sneaky dial up now and then. I'm also moving jobs and offices at work (they are putting my in the attic!) so it's a very busy time for me at the moment in terms of packing stuff up! So I'll be around a bit for the rest of today then that's it - wish me luck! (this post is for anyone that might have actually noticed I was awol)!
  19. was I moaning? I do wave back - I'm friendly.

    TRAX

reverse psychology never works on me. But.................my sister who's just bought a Fiat Barchetta is just getting into the whole forum thing so I might be able to drag her along with me to a couple of things this year. I'm going to trax with a gang I've known a while so it's a lot easier for me than driving off by myself to wales to meet strangers from the internet!
  21. Elvingtons a bit closer - only about 5 miles.
  22. Hey, no one waved at me in the Chavstra!
  23. Don't know if anyone is going to this but as they have now released the date (7th of September) the hotels at Silverstone will be getting booked up. I've already booked my room for the 6th! Can recommend it for a good day out.
  24. Does anyone else get waved at by other jap car (not Z) owners? In the last 2 days I've been waved at by a guy in a modded RX8 and nodded at this morning by a guy in a supra and I used to get waved all the time by a guy with a subaru when I had my Type R. What a friendly bunch!
