  1. right that's it sorted. My pre-divorce anti social behaviour is now complete. 22 foot bedroom, 6ft 6 bed, big tv in corner, ensuite bathroom and wireless laptop. All I need now is a tea's made - can you still get those?
  2. ha, you're all brill, got it working. See you all in a minute in bed then!
  3. right, I'll hang on I think its got two ethernet slots so I should be able to connect the laptop at the same time (if I can find another lead) if not I'll disappear and come back after trying all that!
  4. Just got a new laptop and trying to connect to my BT homehub. The laptop has picked up two other BT homehubs in the vicinity (passworded of course) but not mine. The wireless light on the hub is lit up. Any ideas anyone?
  5. One thing's for sure, you always tell it like it is!
  6. No, its so I can pat the steering wheel and say good boy!
  7. It never fades either. I turn around and look at my car every single morning after I walk away from it in the works car park...........
  8. Nah, I refer to mine as a him!
  9. so you refer to the car as 'her' and then call it Nigel? Is this the first cross dressing zed on the forum? Welcome on board Sally!
  10. coupe for me too but that's only because having owned a convertible before I just don't enjoy roof down driving unless its boiling hot. The coupe looks a bit more aggressive as well which I prefer (other than Martin's monster that is!)
  11. now i'm confused. Are you sally or is the car sally? Or is the car called Nigel?
  12. Martn really is the king of the search button - who would have thought 'clunk' would have been in there though!
  13. Couldn't help myself - I promise I won't mention it again - i'll just wait and see!
  14. I don't think he's 'bought' one at all, which doesn't mean he's not turning up in one.........anyway, we should stop speculating, he enjoys it too much!
  15. boring...............bikes would have probably gone out in it!
  16. I'll keep my eyes peeled!
  17. I agree Mart. I did over 800 fri to fri when I came to stay with you! Thank god for Mastercard!
  18. did i tell you i'm geographylexic............ I thought Wales was only about 2 miles long! You better tell me how far it is from me then in case I change my mind!
  19. ah, I know both those areas - grandparents live in Acomb - Carr Lane. I work on Shipton Road and live near Pocklington so I do the complete full circle of the ringroad every day. I drive the opposite side to work on a morning (towards Monks Cross) then due to traffic on a night I drive home around the other side as work is basically in the middle. Not surprised we haven't spotted before then as other than the A64 we're only on the same bit of ring road briefly and I usually leave work a bit earlier than I did on Friday.
  20. Check this post out for ideas on your satnav. Tim (Lomoto) fixed a tomtom into his cubby. viewtopic.php?f=27&t=19976&hilit=tomtom&start=15 As for the wales meet - I am finally risking it after being a member for a while now and am bringing a mate along but I think there's a mix of people bringing friends, partners or just coming by themselves. Would be a shame for you not to go as its on your doorstep. You won't be the only one that doesn't know many/any people.
