One of my best mates Markie (and now forum member) who recently bought a zed came over to stay this weekend. We quickly became the village saddos by doing joint car cleaning and then taking photos in the drive. I think the neighbours were confused..... We then went off into town for some shopping and the car was shown some appreciation by some young lads who pointed and rubbed their privates - nice! We went into Halfrauds for some 3 for 2 cleaning gear and noticed a whole shelf of tacky pink fluffy car accessories. We spent a short while looking at these, laughing and slagging them off only to turn around and see a middle aged overweight Waynetta Slob lookalike dressed head to toe in pink desperate for us to get out of the way! They even had a pink pipercross induction kit (its in the post Louis!) Went on to do girly clothes shopping (gay friends are wonderful for this...don't be jealous cara!) tried various hats and pairs of shades on. Spotted a zed in the car park (see other post). Finally we went to buy food from Marks and Sparks and Markie decided to pass comment to a woman in the queue about her bad manners as she barged past us - we then spotted her 7 foot 20 stone husband waiting for her at the till and made a hasty exit with our tiramissu..............

So, as part of my 'fag hag' weekend, obviously we went shopping! While at Monks Cross shopping centre in York we spotted a very dirty GM zed. (fancy going out on a lovely sunny day with it like that!) Young, tall, good looking male driver (according to markie.......) I was on the verge of doing a Martinmac and personally handing him a spotted card when I bottled it for fear of looking stalkerish! We carded the car instead!

Why do I get the idea Nic & Markie may be having a drink? 2 large glasses of wine so far (half pinters) and one or two people will know what that means.................maybe I should go on the gin and tonics instead!

Shut it Keith! I have already got his keys and locked him in the garage! Markie has suggested we put a sign at the bottom of the drive saying "what credit crunch?" its so funny seeing them side by side - his actually looks darker in colour. We will take some sad anorak photo's tomorrow.

Markie has just arrived at my house with his new zed. So never having given a uk GT a good once over before i was interested to see what the differences were in that and my import. One of the things that immediately struck me was funnily enough something as daft as the seatbelts! My seatbelts strangle me, they cut across my neck and when i first got the car i posted on here about it. His seatbelts have some sort of gizmo attached which stop that from happening. Does everyone else have those?

for those without a calendar the pics are here, not in order but this month's is the green machine belonging to P15ULT I'm pretty sure martin has plenty more left if anyone wants one, and the calendar runs until end of Jan so still worth getting.
