  1. I live in Charleroi but i am Flemish speaking. You got msn?
  2. Thats correct, in France, Holland and Germany Rays are a 1.000€ extra. And ordering the car with them would mean i d have to wait until the end of the year before getting it And i really like the look of the 2006 5-spoke wheels so thats not an issue. The 2005 model 6-spokes i didnt like that much, but they have changed this so ... Thats what i was thinking too... Btw, anyone got a pic of the parking sensors on a gun-grey Z? Are they visible? Coz thats the thing i dont like about those things, you can really see them on some cars.
  3. As you have seen in my other topic, i was wondering about getting a 2005 or 2006 model Z, because of delivery times, price and availability. Well... Today i went to a German Nissan dealer near Aachen and did best of both worlds ... I ordered a 2006 Gun Grey 350Z coupé Pack wth black leather interior, navigation system and got me the carpets, the alarm and the thingy to separate the boot from the rest of the car. No Rays, but i really like the 2006 5-spoke "default" wheels, so not much of an issue And the best of all.. It will be delivered within 2 weeks He also had a 2005 Z coupe in his showroom with the nismo body kit on it, and a bit lowered. Now thats one awesome bodykit, it fits the car really well (and i usually hate bodykits or aftermarket bolt-on parts coz they tend to look "chav" often). I was thinking, "take that one too or not..", until i heard the price (including the nismo wheels). Installed it was about 10.000€ , and i probably wouldnt been able to get over any speedbump in Belgium anymore at a speed higher than 3 km/h I really liked the spoiler on the boot dough, just wondering did anyone here just install the nismo spoiler and leave the rest as-is? And some remaining questions: - parking sensors, should i get em or not? - spacers for the wheels. Arent they bad for the suspension system, as it is supposed to cope with wheels which are closer and forces will be distributed differently? Anyhow, got a TT to sell now and get the stuff done to import the Zed. I joined The Dark Side
  4. Its quite simple: If you cannot afford an Xbox360 (which is a brilliant piece of kit, both for the gamers and the people developing games for it), go for a Nintendo Wii. It will cost way less (launch price $250 in the US), has a completely new controller system and Nintendo is always good for games with maybe not the most advanced gfx, but with very good gameplay, and that's what counts Just forget about the PS3. Blu-ray won't make it, its overpriced and underpowered compared to an Xbox360 (maybe not in theoretical numbers, aldough if you see the cache access speed for the ps3 processors, its ridiculous, but in pratice its 10.000 times easier to get good performance from the Xbox than it is from the PS3 for a game developer), and they just lost FIFA to microsoft (now thats gonna cost them )
  5. What is a sourpuss? And what is a sourpuss Sylvester? (sorry dudes, not a native English speaker here )
  6. I doubt anyone will publicly admit that they are struggling to pay for their car here
  7. Ok, and what do these wheels normally cost, if you take the same size as the standard wheels on the car, in 18" ?
  8. So why do they put this information next to the wheel? If i were to take wheels with exactly the same size as the original ones what could be the problem then?
  9. I was checking out the NISMO wheels, and all sites showing them say they are only compatible with non-VDC equipped cars? Now what is VDC? Are there any wheels that ARE compatible? Why arent they compatible?
  10. Trying as we speak. Called the importer in Holland and Germany and they are trying to locate a dealership with the car in the spec i want
  11. Checking in France/Germany/Holland to get a 2006 one now, quickly
  12. As i can get my hands on a new 2006 car without rays in 2-3 weeks, and ordering the same car with rays would keep me waiting till the end of the month (buying in Germany, so no rays standard on 2006 model), i was wondering if nobody sold their rays?
  13. 3 mile? And you take a car? I would say, get a bike or a moped. You ll be faster than with the car, and with the bike your physical condition will improve and this will help for my next proposition: Dont get a Z, get a weekend fun car like an Elise or Exige
  14. I m gonna try selling the TT privatly first, for 15K € (give or take 1K ) which i think is certainly not too much. If that works out well i have more room for negociation Holidays first dough ... Malaysia here i come (taking the plane tomorrow )
  15. No not really, thats the price they would give me right away, there is just an additional 3400 they want to give me coz i would want to buy the 2005 model they got in the showroom "to move their stock" basically
  16. Spec difference is easy: both would be the "pack" version, so the only spec difference is what they changed to the 2006 model
  17. As you could see in the introduction topic, i got a bit confused with the forum addresses, so i m sorry to cross-post, but the more opinions the better and i promise i wont do it again Here you go: went to the dealer today .... confused the options: get a silver 2005 Zed coupe (pack) with 5000 miles, can be registered as new, so 3y warranty, for 35.000euro, and i get 15.000 euro for the TT or order a new one, would come to 41.000 euro, 5 month waiting and i only get 11.600 euro for the TT. now the question: After calculating VAT recuperation and stuff (company sale/buy for the cars) i would boil down to a difference of 9000euro between the 2 choices, so is the 2006 worth the extra bucks? also, can the radio be replaced, i would like one that can play mp3s
  18. Hello, i ll just copy paste what i put on the "other" forum as a welcome message. Quite funny, coz i was looking for a forum about this car, first i stumbled on this one, next time when starting my browser i couldnt remember the url, so i did a google search and stumbled on 'the other' one, couldnt find this one anymore (forgot the name), until today i accidently figured out that the only difference between the 2 urls is the '-' anyway, here we go: Hi I am new here, and as you can see, I live in Belgium. Seriously considering a 350Z, after driving a TT for more than 4 years now (113.000km). Always been a happy TT owner (driving a 180pk front-wheel-drive + chiptuning ) but the time has come to change cars and since i dont want FWD anymore in a car with 200+ horses checking out some other options. As the current engines in the new TT dont float my boat (2.0T again only FWD, 3.2V6 a bit 'dissapointing', and no others in the pipeline), the S3 looks too bland and it will take quite some time for it to be available I set my mind on this Nissan. Just need to do a testdrive (and you guys?) to convince myself Greetings from Belgium
