I wasn't going to give a negative comment about Bonsai cars until my cheque cleared... Cleared today.... I went to Bonsai cars and looked at a car that was already imported. Was a 53 plate and was imaculate inside and out. Did a deal and gave a £300 deposit. Phone up the next day to get full details for my insurance. I was then told the car may not actually be a 2003 but a 2002 but they had lost the paperwork. I got disillusioned by them at this point so said I wanted my deposit back. Took over 10 phone calls, 12 emails with the treat of "further action" to get my deposit back 6 weeks later Stear clear.....

You can probably claim on your insurance subject to your windscreen excess...

I have got the gist of Amsol 5W40, but would like a specific recomendation of an oil, did I see a discount for the site above somewhere? Has anyone not managed to get a discount when they supply their own oil?

Good morning, I have my first service since I have owned the car at the end of the month. What oil is recommended at this milage? I am taking the car to a main stealer (Westover Nissan) do all dealers do a discount if you supply your own oil, I have never done that before. Any recomendations when taking your car to a garage, any do's and dont's? Thanks.

I only have two (very small) gripes with my zed. I think the rev counter and speedometer should swop over so the speedometer is in the center of the dash. I keep leaving the indicator on becuase I dont notice the flashing green light or hear the noise. I know is not much but those are the only 2 things i have noticed.

Ha! I went to look at that car as well. Walked away rather quickly.... The dashboard is ill fitting and is rippled. The front spoiler doesn't fit correctly especially around the headlights and has stickers all over the car... Also has extra dials attached to the dash which was not a good job... You get what you pay for...

Out of interest how do you get warranty work done? Does the car have to be registered on some sort of warranty database or is it just based on the age of the car and that it is a UK car? Thanks

either, have spent hours on the engine bay and have hardly started on it and cant get teh grime out of the hard to reach places... any help appreciated.

apart from the old elbow greece how do you get the engine bay so clean? How do you get in all the hard to reach areas and get the manifold so shiny.....

Woo, a caution and a fine. Amazing how driving a few miles an hour over the limit costs you a fine, points and higher insurance... grrrrrrrrr. And the people parking across 2 bays and disabled bays pi**ed me off (can i say "pi**ed" in this forum? There is a tesco near me and because of the people who park outside the entrance you can never lock your car round the corner....
