  1. Unless I'm being really dumb (quite possible!!) I don't have phone controls in my 06 roadster, they'd be on the steering wheel right?
  2. So can I take this opportunity to gloat or not........ Good news for all new owners. So is it just the same system as before with the adapter installed in the centre glove box or is it all hidden away? Fraid not, fairly confident that we roadster owners don't get squat on the bluetooth front Yeh I know understand that and know mine doesn't have it. But was having a nice discussion with Val at the start of this topic as to whether the 06 Coupe does or not. Note to self - read thread properly

  5. You might want to re-read that Gus - you just proved Stephen's point. BTW what the f88k is a vexillogillollogillist? A person who studies flags is a vexillologist The word vexillology is a synthesis of the Latin word vexillum and the suffix –ology meaning "study of". The vexillum was a particular type of flag used by Roman legions during the classical era. I use wikipedia too
  6. Good efforts Sarnie on the meet mooting
  7. wtf is 'split mint'??? Something like a polo? I must be getting old. Glad you asked - I'd no idea what it meant either Same as, thought it was a reference to the "green top" engine
  8. Enjoy Don't forget to post some pics
  9. Flashed and got a wave back from an Azure coupe this morning I was tunring towards Kilburn the coupe was heading towards the M1
  10. While I'm clearly not condoning speeding, for those of us that do occasionally slip over the posted speed limit, how about http://www.jalopnik.com/cars/top/bullrun-tech-subterfuge-edition-electronic-license-plate-blur-effect-189348.php
  11. Barry was it going the opposite way to you? Or the same..... AS I'm pretty sure that I was on a bit of the A6 coming home from JAE yesterday...... saw a silver convertable going the other way with a couple in but didn't get chance to flash/wave etc Was going the same way as me away from Luton, may have been us, but I was too busy being told off for driving too fast and waving at other cars to see the other side of the road
  12. They're not cheap you know!! Unfortunately I know your correct No offence m8t None taken, if she saw me calling her new cut a wig after the amount she spent on it I'll be sleeping in the Zed
  13. They're not cheap you know!!
  14. Azure Coupe passed me on the Barton Cutting about 2pm ish, flashed and waved. Wasn't allowed to chase as had the wife in the car and as she had "new hair" and it didn't go well with the roof down
  15. Spotted Chilli roadster (first one I've seen ) on Tottenham Court Road this morning around 8.15 am, reg L***UST, I was going to flash but remembered that I'd just parked the car and was on foot so that kind of flash would be wrong on so many levels
  16. Totally agree, he's an arse, he's arrogant and that's why I watch him If I want reviews and product detail I go online..
  17. Hhhmmmmm? A W-16 engine that can produce 1,001 horsepower A top speed of 250+ mph A zero-to-60 time of three seconds A zero-to-180 time of 14 seconds or an Elise.... More a case of not wanting to stack their million dollars I think
  18. ****MAX Spotted in underground carpark just off Marleybone Road this morning
  19. combination of first and last name
  20. Mine sticks a bit because of oil buildup in the intake system (from the crankcase breather) - thin film of oil on the top of the piston makes it stick to the housing by capilliary action. Tends to make it reluctant to open coming off boost. Need to install an oil catch tank. Leebar's problem is that the valve is too willing to open, not that it's sticking. Cheers bernmc, sould that also cause a small amount of oil bleed out of the valve, if so I think you've hit the nail on the head
  21. Don't worry you're not missing much Just a sad puppy who enjoy's his job to much
  22. Every time a file is sent by a server, be it text, graphic, video and so on, it is recorded as a hit. So a page with 3 pictures and text would show as 4 hits, but would be only one impression, if the page is refreshed you get 8 hits, 2 impressions 1 unique etc Just realised that I'm starting to bore myself now!!
  23. Dooh, got my wires crossed (The Register is a similar figure for page impressions). Where are you getting your site data from, some on site tracking tools report based on US time zones so 2-3pm could be 7-8pm etc? Are you being supplied "hit" data or "impressions" as there is a fair difference in the definitions and therefore the numbers behind each metric? Stop me if I'm getting dull!!!
  24. The Register is the UK largest IT site and their probably looking at no more than 10 or so page impressions per unique visitor, I figure we're well in excess of that!! (Guess who works in digital advertising )
