  1. I'm hitting 22mpg on a daily driver. mpg may not be the greatest, but the grins per gallon are huge , that's why I bought it afterall!!
  2. Happy that either way I'm going to spend a chunk of cash, I've treated myself to the Z so want to treat her to the best!! Just trying to work out if Zymol kit is £50 better than Zaino Always used Autoglym before but have taken on board the "old tech" comments for previous posts so have no other point of refernce at the moment.
  3. Seems to me that choice of wax/polish is just down to personal preference . I'm going to invest in some decent gear and am currently torn between Zaino and Zymol full kits. Are there any hard pro's and con's for each that may push me one way or the other? Any advice welcome!!
  4. Hi frankyknuckles, I've just been through the same process myself and was looking at the same list of potential cars before choosing the Z, was a tough process (mainly as I'm 6'4" and 17 odd stone and struggle in most cars of this style). Pleased to say I took delivery of my shiny new MY06 Roadster 2 weeks ago and haven't got the smile off my face yet. A quick google search will return a ton of short reviews, the main sources I used when comparing models were Parkers http://www.parkers.co.uk/choosing/carreviews/review.aspx?model_id=1331 (sorry roadster review) and 4Car http://www.channel4.com/4car/road-tests/road-test.jsp?id=288 I know these are both fairly middle of the road consumer sites, they do however give a lot of information that can be directly compared with other makes/models and focus more on the day to day aspects of the car Dull bit out of the way Buy one and buy one now, fantastic car, great grunt, great looks and oooooh that noise!! Cheers Barry
  5. Gunmetal coupe and Sunset Orange coupe parked in the underground carpark, have seen the Sunset Orange coupe over the past few days and always managed to forget to clock a bit of the reg, dooh!!
  6. Passed this evening by Vauxhall and returned my flash nice to see we were both enjoying the sun with our roof down!!
  7. RS4 is an animal, around 420bhp and 0-62 in 4.8 Still a big ugly German box, I know what I'd rather be driving
  8. Going to try and not mod, I'd got my Fiat Coupe up to 300 bhp (through the front wheels) via de-cat, hybrid turbo, unichip etc, but it started to get delicate if driven too hard, too often. Really pleased with the roadster and happy to cruise with the odd loud pedal burst every now and again, although...........
  9. Browsing the UK 350Z site(s) is remarkably addictive... (and I'm not even an owner... yet...) Spent a load of time here just before I ordered, was good to see that a great car is owned by grown up petrol heads. Used to have a Fiat Coupe and while on the whole the club forum was good there was far too much "and this one time I beat a Veyron off the lights and wasn't even trying"!! All you need to do now is go and get one, you won't regret it, I'm hooked!!
  10. First few pictures (I'm no photographer!!)
  11. What can I say, just spent my first full day driving and I'm still trying to get the off my face, very pleased as hadn't driven or even seen the car in flesh before buying one! Have read through a ton of posts on the forum (great site!!) I can see myself spending far too much time here!! Will try and post some photo's tomorrow.
  12. Hi everyone, Possibly had one of the best weeks ever!! After spending 3 days in Germany for the England Sweden game (won tickets, flights and accomodation ) got home late Wednesday night and then at 11.20 on Thursday morning my new Roadster was delivered . Used to drive a Fiat Coupe 20v Turbo and thought that looked and sounded good, how wrong was I!! Going back out now to enjoy the sun. Can't wait to start taking it above 4,000 rpm once run in!! Verry happy new 350Z owner
