Cheers, I have the spybot one already, done it three time, it detected loads and i 'fixed' them. Ran it again and there was a new list of spyware detected Whats a Trojan ?

Waited till nearly 2am but the searches were still going so i left them and went to bed. Got up this morning and the AVG and Defender searches were complete but both said that no threats were found The panda one is still going and has detected 58 spyware files. To 'disinfect' these files it takes me to a page where i have to pay £8? Is that right? I'm wary about putting my cc details into anything at the moment........... Can one shed any further light pleeeeeese.........

I don't want to be driven out of a house and a city that I love by this scum but what do you get if you stand and fight? Shot? Stabbed? Even if they don't attack you right away, a homeowner who kicks up a fuss makes themselves a target. Its not worth confronting them mate. Mrs Sarnie is under strict instructions to never open our door no matter what is going on out there. If some one was trying to break into my car I'd shout out the window at them and call the police. I've heard too many horror stories from my Mrs about people getting stabbed to death for car keys. Interestingly I spent £1100 on a reinforced front door that is near impossible to break into. I'm yet to buy anything security wise for my car. This is purely down to me wanting to protect me and mrs sarnie rather than the car itself. The car is just (an expensive) piece of metal and will never be more important to me than my family's safety Wise words, mate. Thats my one sensible contribution out of the way for the next 4 weeks

Yep, there is a big race scene not too far from me, and the local rozza's go up there in some shitty cars, goad people into a race and then put the blue lights on Entrapment anyone?

Yes your quite right. Downloaded defender and am running a full scan. It has been running for 25 mins so far and scanned 8000 files. AVG scan is also still running for the last 1 hr 25 mins also

I don't know how to resize an avatar so registry editing may be beyond me I have regcure on my laptop i think is that anything to do with it? I have downloaded the defender programme and am currently scanning to find the little bastards!!!

My laptop is getting attacked by minging virus' and spyware!! It keeps opening internet explorer pages directing my to spy ware prevent software, it added itself to my favourites list, it changed my wallpaper on my desktop, icon keep flashing in the bottom right hand corner and its slowed my computer right down!!! HELP!!! What do I do?????

Think we need to know the costing of making the change Porsches don't float my boat and would not consider parting with a zed plus cash for that particular one.
