  1. Once its out of warranty there is no need to go back to Nissan dealers. it may help resale but not by a lot. I would have no worries buying a car that missed a service by a few months as long as it was out of warranty and all the other services had ben done right and the price was correct.
  2. Do you have mad cow disease? CJD........
  3. Why didn't you wait till you got home? Your car is well out of warranty......whatever the reason, the dealer has thrived on you not being there...........all I can say is come back here when ever your car needs anything
  4. I don't like the lights but there maybe lots of other people that do I just don't like stuff that is 'R8 style' etc etc I hate things that try to replicate stuff that its not edited by moderator as trader has now donated and read the rules
  5. 100% complete bollocks. My service for my Gallardo was £800. Just beacause Brembo supply brakes for Ferrari does not mean Ferrai prices. Why the hell was this done through a 3rd party? I don't know a great deal about cars but it doesn't take much to compares costs acros marques...........
  6. Mate, first thing you should do before paying out any money is post it up on here. EBC pads from bigphil are £99 Disks are no more than a few hundred quid tyre are about £450 for 18's, could of saved you a lot of money. Hopefully you will have learnt that the stealers are robbing bastards.......The advice and traders on this site can save you thousands of pounds...... Bottom line: Come to us, before you let Nissan anywhere near your car
  7. The annoying thing is that there is no fixed price for the car. The price is £17.5k to £21k. Apparently this is because there is still a vibrant market for JDM's in Japan untill the car is 6 yrs old or so. I'd rather by a cheap car in the uk based on those figures.......
  8. I'm sorry but those ''audi'' LED's look terrible. They look like xmas tree fairylights The audi ones are bigger but fewer LED's

  11. Update: Been inundated with importers emailing me about the car The cheapest OTR price i've been given is about £23k and the highest was £30k Replied straight back telling them all where to go. The car is an 04 with 20km on the clock and I ain't paying that kind of money just for the kit and wheels which can be added for about £2500 nowadays. If it comes to it, i quite fancy a chilli roadster like this one: http://search.autotrader.co.uk/es-uk/ww ... x_mileage= and then make it look like this one for a few grand:
  12. And was that the day that led to your ban for a slight indescretion with the speed limit - so what was more painful, the loss of your licence or having to buy some new pants for the Mrs by the end of the day The earbashing was far worse than anything that the magistrate had to say, trust me! So have you not managed / wanted to hitch a lift with anyone, or are you going to rock up in an imported GT-R? I don't need a lift, I picked up the ban in 2006 on the October 06 NW run I wouldn't turn up in a GT-R as the mods would cry that its not a 350z
  13. I'll be as old as some of the moderators by the time it gets to the Uk but not as handsome ...or as tall! or as bald I've got plenty of hair, ta! Whats that fringe hiding then??

  19. That's a good point...what is the policy/etiquette on pace and overtaking on the run? I know we all need to be sensible and responsible when driving, but as Daave says, some people will want to go at different speeds. Do we just stay in one big convoy, or if you are getting held up do you overtake safely? If I feel uncomfortable with the pace can I back off and let people past? I've got my g/f in the car and want her to be comfortable with the drive too. Most of the roads are single lane roads where over taking would be wreckless and idiotic. I think attendee's are adult enough not start driving stupidly. Its a 'run' not a 'race'. On the ones I've been on most peoples driving is brisk but sensible. Saying that has anyone got a link to me pulling out at that junction and nearly getting wiped out by that van?
  20. The top spec JDM's come with brembo's and you can add a sat nav / headunit combo pretty easily and cheaper than Nissan birdview sat nav. This car is in the uk, jdm, with Brembo's and £12k: http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/sales/417939.htm

    Tyre Speed Rating

Surely a stock zed won't do 185? And if it could it would take about 10 miles, It took me 2 miles of runway to even get near the 155 limit.......
