  1. I usually won't run stretch unless I have to to make tyres fit legally but this time i didnt need to. Got a bit over zealous with my calculations but inwas working on et0 and 11j's. But your right it needs dropping by at least 3 inches. I'm ashamed of the ride height
  2. I laughed ALOT at the second vid in that list then i just went like the dramatic cat and couldn't laugh as I was gobsmacked. Gotta love the " more money than brains " saying as it's very fitting
  3. Thanks very much guys and gals My eyes weren't working the other week as I couldnt see a projects section. Mods feel free to move if ya like lol
  4. yeah i think its just the beed seal. Im getting it off tomorrow then going down to Merit tyres (who always help me all the time and thanks to me they now know all about stretching tyres and how to do it without a cheater lol) to check for leaks and re-seal. Just a real pain as i want to drive it. HAting the 4x4 ride height and cant afford coilovers for a while so might just chop a coil or two off the stock springs
  5. right small update time. Right so i ordered my new rota grids off Ben at RareRims the day they were released, in fact i think i messaged him about half a dozen times that day askign when i could pay, could i pay , is now ok to pay, when do you want money !!!!! They were busy unpacking them and at about 4pm he took my readys and Tuesday they were delivered. Tuesday evening all 4 had 245/35/19 Avon zz3's wrapped on them unfortuneately i couldnt get them on the zed as ran out of light and time So they sat in my bar til sunday when i finally had a spare 10 mins to get them on. May i add they were sitting for almost a week fully inflated ( remember this ) So here some pics 10.5x19 et20 all round rear fitment is good but needs 20-25mm spacers and the front is perfect but F*********************************K me its close to the calipers !!!!! im gonan get either 15 or 20mm spacers on the front as i have a feeling it will camber in a fair bit when lowered thank god they are straight as an arrow as i recon it would hit with the tiniest hint of a wobble anyway some more pics cant believe how a car can still make 19's look small lol. Anyway managed to get to work fine only to walk outside 1 hour later to find a flat tyre No screw's or nails sticking out, to visable holes, tears or slits in the tyre and each wheel has brand new valves and cores. Have no idea but god dam im getting fed up with all the lil things going wrong all the time. Im also having to deal with a battery that dies when it wants. Can leave it for a week and it will start or leave it for 2 hours and its dead. No lights on/ left on, no interior lights on, with and without the alarm on and off. AAAAGGGGGHHHHHHH coilovers next
  6. Finally got my new rota grid drifts on the zed so the current wheels are for sale 8x18 et30 g35 wheels 2 are near mint with very minor marks ( not kerbing looks like rubber or tar ) 2 have very minor kerb rash/scrap not big chunks (IMO 5 mins with a D8 would get rid of them ) All the tyres are still very very legal with about 2.5/3 mm above the wear markers so 4/4.5 overall 2 - 225/45/18 Michellin pilot sports 1 - Roadstone n9000 225/45/18 1 - Enduro 916 225/45/18 £400 ovon collected from Surrey junction 9 m25 Pics And remember folks you could do a good deed
  7. found a few, its not bad damage and its been repaired decent enough, just the boot lock is lazy and takes a few goes to shut the boat which murray tried to pass off as " cabin pressure keeping the boot up and needed to have a door open when shutting " thank god i new it was because fo the rear end damage lol wanted to find out if it was stock or not as its getting taken out soon to make way for some bride zeta max super lows in red
  8. cheers for that Lexx. Seem the p***k c**t w**k ass f****r Murray who i bought it off ( he is on here ) is a pathalogical lying scumbag. Not only did he tell me the fans worked fine and never over heated ( clearly had before and did on the way home ), the thermostat was find ( wasnt opening ) and the dvd player/sat nav worked ( it didnt ) he also said the previous owner had reversed in to a pole and caused minor damage ah well i swapped him a car that cost me 2k so its all good
  9. yeah i did lexx. I knew it was and saw tiny pics of the damage when i got it. I got it silly silly cheap thanks to some wheeling and dealing with a very very cheap car i had. Im currently looking through matts old posts to find some bigger pics of the damage but its F******KING hard when u cant search by users threads
  10. actually looking back on that thread Lexx posted up and checking a few members previous posts im pretty certain im driving mattbowey's car.
  11. seems to be rare from the sounds of things. Not sure if thats a good thing or a bad thing
  12. Need some info please guys and gals. I have an 05 plate JDM gt spec which has light cream/off white leather interior ( seats, gaiter, door trims ) Ive been told this wasnt a color nissan did the interior in and is a re-trim. It was advertised as white but really is a creamy off wite color. Question is : is it OEM factory extra option thingy or its been retrimmed. It came in to the country with it. thanks Ceffy
  13. Lol it's lack of skill, doesn't even counter steer when going round, bet he had no idea it was going out until he was facing the wrong way. Flooring it, open diff, out side wheel spinning up and monster torque = smash bang wallop Been there done that
  14. This is what happens when you combine inexperience, high power and too many ken block videos
  15. Not Even a scissor jack from the boot and do one side at a time ?
  16. Have you jacked the back up an Grabbed the top and bottom of the wheel and pushed and pulled It. It's a sure fire way to see if the bearings are gone as it will move if they are gone and won't move if they are fine
  17. it doesnt matter on mileage mate.. an engine with 100 miles on it can do a HG if its had a problem with over heating/over heated in the past Fan failure is common on 350's so maybe your fans have/are not working resulting in repeated over heating and that could ahve killed the head. My zed has about 40k on it and its had two sets of fans previously and now its on aftermarket rad and aftermarke fans
  18. my old 5 series bmw was loosing water and pressurizing the system but not smoking , not burning oil and no sludge, not over heating. Turned out to be a partially blwn head gasket.
  19. suppose it makes sence as the hose from the rad goes to the bottom of the tank. Most my other cars the hose goes to the top so would only ever suck air back in if it needed cheers alex and sorry for the hijack
  20. While Alex is on this thread i'd though id ask a question as its something ive seen people say a few times on this forum. surely the expansion/overflow tank is just that and is there to let excess pressure/water escape from the rad in to a container to make less mess. I didnt think a rad cap acted as a "two" way valve and let water/coolant/anti freeze get sucked in to the rad from the overflow if it needs it. tbh i havent ever had anything in my overflow bottle on any of my cars unless the car has overheated/pressurized and spewed it out
  21. Iirc all there stuff is road legal and the difference is in the rebound, dampering and spring rate BUT Miester R are pretty flexiable and they can build stuff to your spec with different spring rates etc. I chat to Jerrick regularly and im getting some next month ( once i can afford it and convince the wifey that if the cats get presents for xmas then so does the zed ) and he really is very knowledgeable. Its stuff like BC, D2's and K sports which are similar/same price that really make a bad name for the more affordable brands as they are just SHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIT
  22. ive used hsd's and miesters on a few of my old cars and they hugely popular with drifters due to them being able to withstand abuse. Very well made but your right the majority of failures is purely down to neglect even on the more well known brands. Before i install coilvoers i strip them down lace them in bike chain lube and then do that every 3 months.
  23. did that in my bemma and it makes the ride a tad ummm harsh
  24. i find it hard to get it equal with the heating method. Usually i find the middle of the spring and cut there lol altho cutting springs only really works on stock springs as aftermarket ones had less coils to start with
