  1. Well its on private land, off the road so yeah its fine...... as long as it "never" gets driven on her majesty's roads then its As for the insurance certificate. Can your insurance company not fax it to them? Most dealers would accept this......
  2. The thing is, to be honest if that comment wasn't being used as an excuse then I could understand it. I mean, if you were expected to drive at speeds well over a ton in a Vectra then you would want to know how (bad) its going to feel But if thats the case that these "advanced drivers" need this, then the police should hire private land for that purpose..... I mean, who's to say that at this time, he doesn't have a blowout, and skids and hits the one car thats on the motorway (full of teenagers) coming back from somewhere........ Its double bloody standards!
  3. Lomoto.... why is it called clear lacquer?
  4. Saw this a while back, thought it was a one off but seems to be there a lot now. GM coupe, 55 plate near the Elephant & Castle....... I stopped and carded it! Lets see if get any response.....
  5. Yes, I often bow down to my nice Azure blue car at the weekend...... (check your spelling fool )
  6. Well its still falls within the the specification of Super unleaded (has to be over 97 RON to do so)..... so it can't be that bad. And is definitely better than sticking 95 RON in! ! But probably not going to perform as well as Shell or Tesco..... (BP ultimate has been proven to be crap!)
  7. Oh guys, just to cheer you all up the next time you get nicked for speeding..... http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/shropshire/5284962.stm Classic quote: "The judge said he had "suffered enough" with two-and-a-half years of court proceedings." So the next time you get nicked, tell your lawyer to drag it out for 2.5 years and bob's your uncle! ffs
  8. yes do! I had second P1 done there, although I did tell them not to do the brake fluid (27miles) and i supplied my own oil £102 incl Vat IIRC! Dave will match the prices of other dealers, so ring him last, plus tell him about the site and that i sent you there Excellent, thats what I want...... I want someone who is not going to take the michael when you tell them you got your own oil etc....... as some of them knock off about 12p
  9. ok if you just want EBC red stuff pads etc to go with your brembo or non brembos then this placed sold them at decent price as well... http://search.stores.ebay.co.uk/THE-MOTORIST-WAREHOUSE-01924-451277_350z_W0QQfciZ12QQfclZ3QQfsnZTHEQ20MOTORISTQ20WAREHOUSEQ2001924Q20451277QQfsooZ2QQfsopZ3QQftsZ2QQsaselZ31735786QQsofpZ0 or http://www.ebcbrakesdirect.com/ if you want whole new brembo's CALIPERS then its going to be dear do. Could try funkystying?
  10. Great, another one nearby to add to the list about getting a P2 service cost from.....
  11. Yep, I'd be up for helping out next year, either European drive over some of the passes or a Le Mans trip....... Sound good!
  12. You should do Sarnie, the guy that boughts Kevs on the other side, saw some pics and they look ace (as did Kev's) But haven't your wheels gotta go back anyway???? . . . . . . . . . . . . . I mean with the rest of someone's RX-8 thats gone back for recall??
  13. Excellent mate, sounds like a good deal! Get some pics up....... bet you're from ear to ear all day!
  14. I test drove one ages ago...... And the things that put me off where the excessive drink (petrol) problem, the excessive drink (oil) problem...... and the fact that there is no feeling of power, no shove in the back...... Its just a linear power delivery........
  15. Either that or can CD of V8's and listen to that as you go along ......
  16. Nissan Middlehurst St Helens sell the full Nismo kit separately at the moment. They have a few spare, around 2k if I remember rightly.........
  17. List of roads to stay away from on bank holiday http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/5279624.stm
  18. Do you still keep and tally up your no claims this way??? Yep How does that work then??? You keep tallying up your no claims as per normal as you are main driver but as the woman is named driver, then unless you with Direct line, she doesn't accumulate any no claims. Anyway, she will be using her's on her car. You can't have no claims bonus on two cars at once. The direct line thing would only work if you had someone named, but they didn't have their own insurance anyway......
  19. Someone else will come along shortly with any technical specifics, but a general good look around etc at everything would be good to still make sure its all the way it was when you commited to buying it.... If was you, I would be checking all of the front end paintwork as well, for major stonechips etc. if you haven't already, then try to get agreement from the dealer for rectification....... good luck!
  20. What with Sarnie dropping out AGAIN ..... its now:- 1) Jacko 2) M13KYF 3) Chesterfield 4) TheMinel 5) Liam's Z 6) lomoto 7) Digsy 8) Steve B (to be confirmed) 9) Max 10) Hanel
  21. I can't speak German, but it was something along the lines of "we build it all by hand, it goes fookin fast and then we go to the pub! Actually though, thats a lower spec model although does come with NOS! And it looks better as it doesn't have the monster intake...... Oh and there is no german word for "bungee jumping"
  22. I bet his wife is down as a named driver. Do you have a woman named on your policy? its not bad advice that, I've just put the GF on as named driver on my car and the policy has dropped by £200!! Not that's she's driving it mind
  23. Ok so we can sort meeting up with you if you want, probably just off the M1. Can sort nearer the time....
  24. Not being there I did'nt know what to expect ok mate, well you'd have to cater for the full day...... will leave up to you if you want to miss footie for one day to finally meet everyone, or whether you going to stay the elusive "alleged" custard owner for another year!
