Damian, Completely gutted for ya after all the crap you having at the moment..... But completely agree with whats been said, don't make a rash decision and sell cos of this. At the end of the day if you let some scrote grind you down and make you change YOUR life, then you are letting them win! Remember how happy the car makes you feel when you out and about in it, how good it looks and the fun you've had such as on the Wales drives out..... Just take a good long relaxing breath, and get it back to the best you can... remember, we all only here once, so do things that make you happy! If some t*sser can't deal with the fact you have a nice car, then hopefully he'll walk in front of one, one day..... Keep your chin up mate!

What happened to the windscreen?????? Yeah its a chopped off concept at the mo..... was on PH yesterday as well. Not going into production allegedly. Therefore its got no real roof etc..... Looks better from some angles, but direct from front looks a bit bottom heavy!

Yes, as the letter of the law goes, I believe it is! Doesn't matter...... the highway code doesn't differentiate with this, you are still "undertaking"..... therefore whether you do on the middle, or inside lane its still illegal. But if you were doing 70mph in the inside lane (constant speed) and the middle or outside lane brake, then you are just keeping speed, so in this case, if you happen to go past them its not illegal. Probably dodgy ground if you were to have this argument with a traffic cop, but I would suggest if you'd got pulled for it is was accelerating past someone on the inside, therefore you are then "undertaking"!

I know, if I was a traffic cop, I'd take great pleasure in "educating" idiotic drivers for this..... Its sooooo bad when you just following someone with a rear fog on in the rain, all you can see is a big red glare!

Yeah I do, but technically that's illegal..... Unless you time it right so that you are doing the same speed as them (slightly more) just as you see they are going to slow down. Then technically you are not undertaking, just that their lane has slowed.......

Dan, Do you mean from completely off? Mmm not sure on this, would have to be a very recent machine with very good power management options. Might only be certain manufacturers that do it. Have to admit I've not seen it from completely cold (off). Seen obviously from standby etc......

Guys, Lets all take a breather here...... I'm going to apologise if I've stirred something up. Its been a long and tiring day and i was having a little pop at Sarnie, as yet again he'd dropped out of something...... but lets not let it all get out of hand. At the end of the day, everyone is entitled to do whatever they want... But I would agree that common courtesy should prevail and people (no matter what the event is) should let the organiser (in this case Mike) know and also, anyone that may be assisting.... such as AndyC who I believe was supplying somewhere to crash. I would hope Sarnie that you have done this, but thats up to you and your call/conscience. Beavis, everyone is entitled to an opinion.... I/you can't say for sure that Sarnie hasn't let anyone know, thats between him and the organiser/bed provider. So I'd suggest letting them have that discussion with him rather than us jumping on their behalf? But anyway, you've no reason not to turn up now..... if Sarnie has miffed you off, then he ain't going now anyway! Seriously guys, lets all remember at the end of the day, its a car forum...... not the UN! (he says trying to bring some light to the situation). Also, if either of you have an issue with anything i've said, then take up with me on PM, lets not bore everyone else.....
