I've had my coupe about 8 weeks now (but can't see you loosing more than 1 or 2mpg). Done 2200 miles with a mixture of dual carriage way/motorway (try to cruise but very hard from every set of lights not to gun it! ) and then thrash the tits off it at the weekends...... and I've averaged 25.2mpg over that time.......

Mine only turned up yesterday Val but I was out so gotta pick up this morning....... So hopefully you should get today at the latest.... Nick, PM me the details as well if you can if the match is that good...... I might be looking for a front respray soon. I've got more chips than something with lots of chips!

Spotted: 07:30 04/05/06 Nice Blue Azure coupe (GT I think). MK54 O** (Middlehurst St Helens plate) I was right behind you coming past Knowsley safari park down to the roundabout and then around it towards M57...... was chuckling as we both gave it a bit of gas down the dual carriageway. Saw you acknowledged me too Made a lovely sight and sound us both going around the roundabout in convoy Also made me think I was following myself.... Anyone on here??

Hi Dave, To be honest, the only thing that has been confirmed so far is the meeting time of 9am at the services at Junction 14 of the M56 (not sure of name). I've left groups of people who are coming from similar direction to make their own meeting arrangements, such as the Chesterfield posse already have done... Guess you, Val and Mike could prob meet? Btw, drop us a PM with your mobile on.......

ok cool, So we confirmed for a 9am meet at the services at J14 M56?? Works for me. Sure that if people are running a little late, then we can always wait a little. We could probably swap mobile numbers etc. Just thought it would be better to start earlier to miss some of the traffic etc and not sure how long the route will take in a car..... But looks like we have a plan (oh and I'll probably be bringing the GF as well, so good at least there will be some others there as well.... )

No you are right Max, just that I can see this being the interesting point. Well I think you, Chris and Kev are coming the furthest, so rather than me "suggesting" a time that might put people off, then whats the earliest that you guys can get there for? The reason I ask is that its a quite a big route (if we were to do all of it), its been a while since I did it and always been on bikes, so will take a bit longer in cars due to the odd amount of traffic (which you can filter through on a bike)..... So I personally, wasn't going to go out the night before and was up for an early start? I mean for example, I'd be up for meeting at J14 M56 services (which need to confirm are on the right side) anytime between 8am - 10am?..... dunno just ideas, but rather that the time didn't put people off etc. Its more important for us all to meet up and have a good time.... What do we all think? Obviously this is my first meet so don't know what you lot normally do??

How about the fact there is no halogen main beam, replaced by a much larger bi-xenon lamp? Yeah you are right, just that my observations were purely cosmetic as it was sat in the showroom. I didn't get chance to gauge how effective this change was although I knew that they had chance to bi-Xenon..... but sure they will be better on the road.. at night.
