  1. Cheers Chris, You'll have to let me know how you get on..... just out of interest at this stage I completely forgot about Val's kit. Oh how could I.....
  2. Oh crap, there goes your excuse to keep the other half from taking your car out all the time! So I'm assuming that you work for a insurance company or car dealership or something then to have free insurance? (Not jealous at all!)
  3. mate, Enjoy the forum, its great around here . Make sure you get your location details etc filled out so people can see where abouts you are. May be meets going on soon in your area...... Anyway welcome aboard and get some pics up...

    Air vent trim

But I have perfected a one handed driving style with my left hand index finger sticking the vent back down....
  5. Not had chance to get anywhere near this yet with where I have been driving... Just wondering, how is the car at these speeds, suppose more interested in cars with standard aero packages. Just wondering as the dealer mentioned that it gets a bit light at the back end well above a ton?
  6. Aye, as mentioned here..... I've already sat in one a week back (sorry not had chance to detail what I thought ) and had a good look as Westway in Manchester had one in, but not in demo. Tbh, I wasn't that impressed in the differences..... but from what I remember. Good: Nice bits of leather on the door where arm rests. Same: All plastics on transmission tunnel/dash is exactly the same. Not better in quality. Who cares: Changed gear stick surround to a different style of silver Air con dial surrounds are now silver. Steering wheel buttons have wording on Not sure if I like: Front lights have little dimples on top, personal opinion is it looks a little cheap/aftermarket. They didn't look that different apart from that. Rear LED lights look just ok in daytime, but bet they nice at night. But that saying I would be interested to hear what you think Andy as to the differences in engine/performance. But sure some of these things are personal preference.... But I did forget to mention the slidy drinks holder where the ashtray was
  7. How much is a Greddy kit then? I think I need to see a few kits in person to be able to see/feel the difference.... I think the only one that I have seen in person so far is the Nismo kit. Pity Liam can't make the NW drive or could have taken a look at others. Has anyone else got kits on thats coming (well soon know sure enough anyway )
  8. Great John, So now you can come and scrub them in properly on the 7th down Wales? ??

  13. This might explain this then..... http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/business/4941262.stm "Stripping out one-off costs, underlying profit was $5.282bn compared with $4.96bn in the same period of 2005." Nice, ....... they make better profits every quarter as we get further stung!
  14. Doh!, ah of course...... good spot
  15. Aye it does with a nice Nismo kit and wheels But I love the red roadsters. I'm assuming thats an '06 version? But the point being that a lot of the changes you don't see. I mean the little dimples in the front lights, you don't see till you on top of them. I think I was trying to say that its good for a pre 06 owner that apart from the engine, there isn't that many changes....
  16. Yeah Liam, its because its uploaded in .PDF format (adobe acrobat reader). If you want to view, then just download the Adobe Reader from here http://www.adobe.co.uk/products/acrobat/readstep2.html

    touch up pots

Yep I'd be up for one.....
  18. I was going to get to the front and then set my cruise control to 29mph.....
  19. Right all, Sorry for the delay, but finally here is the planned route for the North Wales drive out. Sunday 7th May: (Think this date as more people can make it also there is something else in the calendar for the 28th) 1) Follow M56 to end, then hang a left onto the A494 towards Mold (via A5117). 2) Follow A494 past Mold towards Ruthin. 3) At Ruthin stay on A494 towards Bala. 4) A494 comes to end at Corwen, turn right onto A5 then left at next lights onto A494 to Bala. 5) At Bala, pull into the car park next to the lake and endulge in some nice ice cream/sunbathing (hopefully! ) 6) Depending on time, can either take the A4212/A470 or go back up A494 then A5 to both Betws-y-coed (latter quicker but probably not as scenic). 7) Take A5 back out of Betws-y-coed then take the B4501 towards Denbigh (this is Denbigh Moor road and is brilliant! ) 8) At Denbigh, then follow signs for Ruthin on A525. 9) Make way back up the A494 towards M56. 10) Cruise home via M56..... Well thats the route. I suggest a couple of motorway meeting points seeing as we are probably coming from different areas. There seems to be a service station at J14 of M56 (just before end) that could be our final stop on the way there, to ensure that we all together. But I'll be coming from north Manchester so around the M60, onto M62 then M6, then M56 so could probably have one on that route and another on the M56 for you southern Manchester people? Anyway, I'd think the earlier the better. I'd be up for an early meet but I don't want to suggest too early to put people off at this stage..... but I think its a good days driving, so be better earlier to miss any a) caravans and policemen etc Although I would have thought with a lot of cars, that it might be more of a cruise than a thrash.... How does that sound?? Hopefully now we have a route might mean that some of the NW crew that haven't said yes yet, might now do.... we have 7 so far for this date (sorry ScoobylawGt4) Val (or another admin), Can we now get this in the calendar?

    Lambo Doors...

Mike, go to the gallery section on the same website to see the other wheels (the standard ones for sale) on their car.... Chris/Val, Thanks for the info about the Lambo style doors.... I ain't got a wedding to save up for, but I'd have to be sure when spending that sort of cash....
  21. Jacko

    Lambo Doors...

Yes different wheels. So who's are they then Mike I think they are still CTD, as the middle bit is still the same (without the cover) and the rim part looks the same. Just a difference in spoke design. Probably either old ones they sold or maybe one offs? I'd give them an email......
  22. Jacko

    Lambo Doors...

So Val, have you actually seen some in the flesh and tried em mate?
  23. Jacko

    Lambo Doors...

Ooops just had another look. The ones on that page are only single spoke, easier to see when you click on the enlarge photo option!

    Lambo Doors...

Try here Mike, They have some wheels here, just difficult to work out if they are exactly the same as the show car (which are lovely!) : http://www.ctd-germany.com/shops/350z/shop_e/index.php They do 19" and 20".....
