Hmm I think Dorian and Digsy are right go for a completely different colour. I like what the Pisukt done to his car really lairy Im thinking if i get flip paint might look a bit chavtastic, or should i just leave it black and get on with the rest of the mods

 

You are a man who likes the best, right? So no black bits showing anywhere with a respray? That means a complete car strip - do you really want to be without your car for ages and hoping it comes back all as it should be - potentially a lot to ask .

 

On the other hand if you buy a white JDM then a compromise might be just having the exterior done in the magic paint and with your other mods (your present wheels would look ace on a white car), you then have the makings of something very special?

Can't get my head round the time that appears "My" site clock tells me it is (say) 5.24am whereas at real time it was 2.40pm?

A search reveals Chesterfield saying:

Been reflecting on your shudder issue you describe as coming from the middle of the cockpit. I do not recall the prop (shaft - not the propellor noting your other interest ) being a ZED problem but maybe something connected with that is the source of the shudder?

As others have said, check everything to do with the tyres as from previous postings on this site and elsewhere they are normally the first culprits and need to be thoroughly checked, particuarly if they are still the originals and with 15k they are, shall we say, well-run in. Do all the wheels look undamaged and/or is one wheel/tyre looking newer than the others? A hard hit on a kerb or similar might have knocked something out of true that only becomes noticable at high speed.

Hope the supplying dealer gets it is sorted for you whatever it is and you can really enjoy the car.

Had such a great time on the last event - hope I can make this one - perhaps those going from down south can convoy to make it an even better weekend?

Had a Renault Clio tailgate me on the road from Bala to Trawsfyndd until i presed the "warp speed Mr Sulu" pedal.

 

But other than that not much else, must be the Yellow that makes it look faster than the other colour's, so people don't bother.

Get the occasional 'boy racer' obviously wanting to try to prove something but its never on for a road race - 'quickest' way to clink As other have said say, once you get to a bit of winding road you quickly lose the wannabes anyway.

What I do find is that when I'm in Mrs Ebized's Jazz that does attract far more tailgators - the mentality of some out there who decide to intimdate what they perceive as slow-uns is pathetic . I would rather pull over and let them go and not involve me in their accident.

when I got my car i took all the comments about needing spare keys very seriously as apparently it's hard to get hold of them for an import.

 

I was really pleased when Jurgen gave me 3 sets. 2 normal ones which had the new Cat 1 alarm fobs attached plus a valet key.

 

Yep you guessed it - can't find my bloody spare keys anywhere! I have the set I'm using and the valet key but god knows what i've done with the others. I'm so annoyed with myself. They MUST be in the house somewhere but can I find them?

 

I could do with Ming and the boys coming round to do a fingertip search!

When you gave your son an opportunity to have a drive he might have liked it so much he's got the spare keys and taking it out for a blast when you are all tucked up in bed? Wouldn't be the first time that has happened.......

Other threads on performance enhancing mods seem to be saying that often the expected gain gets cancelled by the ECU then resetting things back to standard. In which case it makes me wonder if they are worth the cost ??

It would be interesting to hear just what the actual bhp gain is before installation and then after a period of time, to see whethlater the makers' claims are relaistic and outlay is worth it.
