  1. About the same amount as it would have been unworn, perhaps a 5% increase, in 25 years you may be looking at a 35% increase due to its limited status... If you look at page 4 on this site Lot 398 http://www.artcurial.com/pdf/presse/2007/r1261.pdf I sold a series of these watches that came in a group of 6... I think that they were about 20k each and this one sold for 50k euros... Not a bad return in 17 years!! If he had have sold all 6 he would have made alot more money... Big Phil, nice collection mate Makes an interesting comparison with what a £100k car would be worth after the same period of time... Depends if that £100k car was a Ferrari F40.....! I 'looked' at one a few years ago when I was on my way down to the south coast, in a small specialist dealer, and it was up for £125k. The last one I saw a few months ago the guy had paid £250k for!!
  2. I will be up for some Kev, will take a look at the diary and let you know....
  3. OK, I'm going to get it off my chest...... I don't get why the Wales run has to be in April, the week after the biggest show of the year. Why can it not be pushed into May, so we can actually get some outside interest in the car??? If the mods and admins all got fully behind it we would have a real chance for the community to grow, and have some new members. While the feedback is clearly great for the Wales run it is incredibly insular. An event by members, for members only. I would also love to do the Wales run and apart from that being the marathon weekend it is two major events in the space of 8 days....... This isn't to detract from the great effort Beavis puts in to organise these things, I just want to get some of us going to them rather than relying on people just happening to drop by.....
  4. Not much of a bargain really. Its 6 yrs old, basic spec, standard wheels and chavvy looking tints. Are we in 2009 yet? 52 plate so will be 6 yrs old this year. Not if it was built/reg in feb 2003! Makes no odds, to me. If this car was 03 not 52 it would be worth more money. Loosely translated "Sorry lads, I was wrong..." No, not at all. My point is valid. 2004/04 zed = £18,035 http://www.parkers.co.uk/cars/used-pric ... 75&issue=0 2004/54 zed = £18,350 http://www.parkers.co.uk/cars/used-pric ... 76&issue=0 Therefore the fact that this car was early 2003 makes no odds. Its still a 52 plate and therefore worth less money. It gets lumped with the same with sept 02 cars, which is why I class it in the same money as 2002 cars. Why do you think dealers desperately want to offload cars before a new reg is out? Unloosely translated for you. You are using Parkers as a guide?!?!? For what it is worth, new reg plates make less and less difference now to dealers, age, spec and mileage of the car will count more.
  5. I dont make the demographic either at 27 sorry gill, but if you drop the age to 25 to 35 im sure we can get more people for ya Welcome by the way Shame Im about 20 mins from covent garden too if that +1 With spirited driving!

    Right interval?

Like everything else along these lines, if any fault can be directly attributed to the filter then yes, if not, then no, no way Thanks. Now I know how and engine works, and I know what an oil filter does - but I am by no means an internal combustion expert. What could happen with an oil filter that would cause a big enough problem? Its a bit like running the popcharger etc on mine, my dealer is cool about it regarding the warranty when servicing but I am under no illusions that this may change if I had major warranty issues. Well I have changed the air filter on mine, but since it passes the same tests a Nissan one does I figure I am pretty safe on that one. I agree with you though Martin, I would fully expect a ruck regardless, but was wondering if it was a legitimate argument they could make?

Result, have booked it in there next Thursday. Providing my own oil and oil filter P1 is £177. The service guy reckoned my warranty would be void if I had a non-Nissan filter fitted - is this right? I thought as long as it was made for the car it was fine?

In the trade for an real poor example quite possibly. This is a 99 T with 41k on it, full LSH, cream leather, sports exhaust, etc. Not pushing for top money as we know what car we want to replace it with. Open to sensible offers! £6k? Which is less than trade, so need more than that.

Anyone had any dealings with Ancaster Croydon as a dealer / service centre?

But is does weigh about half as much as the Zed. And at one point they were putting 2.2l engines in these IIRC.

    She's almost gone

Sorry to hear it, nice choice (Although the new C63 AMG would've been more bonkers!).
  15. That doesn't make a blind bit of difference. The brakes aren't made by them, they should still cover them Result on the axles stuff though!

So since it is rolling up to 44k, about now then! Cheers.

Agree with that Digsy, except the practicality of these IMO is a lot more than the Elise! Look how much deeper the doors are on these, getting in and out is a doddle compared. Agree the Elise is gorgeous, so, fancy a S1?? No money! Will you lease it to me? Not a problem - one off deposit of £7k leaves you repayments of £29.95 a month for 3 years.
