  1. Thats asking alot for that money. The Vortech with all the bits and pieces could be had for about that money, then you'd need it fitting and tuning. A genuine 420bhp from the supercharger is optimistic in my opinion, and I wouldnt run that power with standard internals.

    Jealousy?

A mate of mine kept getting his car broken into at the gym (this is going back a good few years). Anyway, he chased a couple of chavs from his car that were sniffing around and one of them made a joke about nicking his stereo. He was sure that these little f*ckers were the ones that had been breaking into his car all the time........so, they laid a trap for him. It wasnt the latest in car security or technology, but it consisted of 3 rather big lads waiting in a van in the car park. Sure as sh*t, the second time they did it, he turned up and had a go at the car. Lets just say, that he'll think twice about robbing anything ever again.
  3. What im saying is, that you couldnt get them any cheaper importing them, so even if they seem expensive, they are good value for what they are. (if that makes sense? )

    Shut it ya wee radge!
  5. You have to do it when cold, its slightly darker when cold and like lomoto says, it sticks better.
  6. Its a very good price, and they are here in the UK.
  7. 2K including rubber is cheap.
  8. Haha, steady on fella! The UTEC was tuned while the engine was on the test bed. Where it did this............................
  9. I think it may just be, be interesting to see. Does look like a nice piece of kit.
  10. You'll be lucky to do a turbo conversion for that. The cosworth one may in ideal conditions give 16bhp but it will be in the mid range, and not peak power. Thats where you need it though, just not as good for down the pub.
  11. Unfortunately gains just dont happen like that, and you cant tally them up to give you a new figure. You may get a bit of mid range response with the plenum, but for peak power, you'll be lucky to get 3.5bhp, nevermind 35bhp The zed is a nightmare to tune.

Ahhh right, with ya. Spent a good while in CaNEDa.
  13. Looks great, expect it to be the most expensive on the market.
  14. Probably be cheaper to get one from Leeauto in America. Budget about 800-850 for the system including VAT, shipping/customs and all that pish.

Quality show. Cant believe the tall boy is from Canada! very good accent. Pash!
  16. The Brembo's would only be much use if you do drive the car harder and are finding your current setup isnt doing the business for you. They do of course, look nicer. A nice exhaust sounds like it would be the best crimbo pressie for yourself! Nismo is pretty unbeatable for sound.
  17. Well, i sold my brembo's (only 15months only) with pads discs and front and rear calipers, for about 950 all in all. If your not bothered about more braking power, then no, not much point.
  18. Could be a good buy for someone, those.

Ya f*nny! (ice cream cone melting.................you must have seen it???)
  20. Ive had both, what are your goals for power/how much do you want to spend???
  21. Thanks mate. Funnily enough the exterior mods (apart from the wheels didnt affect my policy) but my '30%' power increase did, of course. Should be down next year, as I'll be 30, and hopefully only have 3 points on my licence (i'll bet I've jinxed it now)
  22. You could get a complete set with discs for about £800-900 that arent damaged. Unless you can get them very cheap I wouldnt bother, as they need repainting, discs and repairs to whatever damage on the brake lines.
