Volk Progressiv ME - tres expensive.Whoa, I seem to have opened a can of wormsBut thanks for the interesting read, so can anyone give me an idea of price for the Nismo body bits (front, sills and boot spoiler)
Right, brace myself for the backlash but..................... I'm not a big fan of the Rays, and want to do something different, well that's not entirely true, the wheels I am looking at are Rays but these ones
what are these wheels? they are gorgeous, are they expensive?

You might be pushing the 12K a bit but not by much. Mazda Cx-7 is absolutely top notch.
I test drove loads including Subaru Forester (couldn't find a litchfield as this would prob have been top choice), Nissan Murano & X-trail, Honda CRV's, 5 series estate.
Mazda was head and shoulders above all of these. Loads of kit, well built, no roll & 260 horses LOADS of space and comfy.
Good call! I test drove one the other week - definitely the sportiest SUV this side of a Cayenne/X6.

No backlash here - those Volks are sweet and much easier to look after that the ones with a lip.

Wow!
How close to the tarmac is that front lip???

My first car for 6 years was an EF and always wanted an EG to replace it. Got a soft spot for Civics.
Nice looking Teg too.

What time do you hit Liverpool on the way back, Paul? I might fancy an advance viewing.

if i recall the 2.2 Diseal puts out 250Ib of torque compared to the Z's 260 or so
Trouble is like all Diesels mine included all the torque comes in one big lump, when you get it right but when you are off the turbo and nothing happens
Not mine!
Slightly off the wall suggestions but how about a Alfas - Brera or GT?

People would think John Barnes had arrived in style!
Or had fallen on hard times...

Got a similar issue with Mrs Digsy at the moment. I'm prepared to buy her a better car but she doesn't like anything I suggest and wants one of those cutesy Fiat 500 things. Rather less practical than a 4x4 which is giving me a headache...

I think we can safely say that the V5 isn't the last word in accuracy when it comes to these things.
-
Keep it - creepy but not really scary. It does make me not want to meet you though...

R32 for me - better value secondhand than GTis and lovely sounding V6/exhaust combo.

Interesting idea but I would hate to think we were modelling ourselves on my350z.com - I much prefer the way we do things this side of the pond.

tbh any company that is willing to get off their bums and get on the forums etc to say hello to their customers personally and possibly support forums through sponsorship or membership gets a thumbs up from me so why not promote the good work they do
Admin and mods are human too! (maybe?)
Liked the fact that Tim (I think!) came round the clubs at Modified Live for a quick chat and to meet people face to face - don't see that with Direct Line!
I saw Churchill once - darn thing pee'd up against my tyre!!

To kill some time maybe you can try the search feature to answer all you questions!

Has nobody picked up yet that Clarkson made quite a silly point about the speedo/satnav screen.
He kept mentioning that although you knew where you were, you didn't know how fast you were going.
But if he had paid attention to the left screen, where he said "...which doesn't interest me at all..." then he would have noticed the speed at the centre bottom of the left screen.
Thus you do know how fast you are going, regardless of what the right screen is showing.
Quick snapshot of the bit where Clarkson just had the dragrace against James' 430, and says
"I have no idea how fast I'm going, but I'm know I'm somewhere near Guildford"
Nice spot!
-
They had that for ages at the original silly price.
Personally, I think you still paid over the odds but if it truly is mint then it may well be worth it. I wouldn't worry about the price now you've done the deal and just get on with enjoying a fantastic motor.

The colour looks good against the black - very JPS Lotus - but I don't like the design. Sorry!

Matte black headlight internals and I think she'll be finished!
Thoughts about LMGT4 gloss black...

Spot on, Mitz. That was Davros's car. He wasn't a member here so nothing interesting to search for. I don't recall anything bad about it apart from the stripes but it has been up for sale a long time.
Personally I wouldn't swap lightweight forged Nismos for Rotas but its your car.
