The wind is so bad in Ormskirk that the Police have cordoned off the town cenre and all the car parks and the bosses have sent us home. Tiles were coming down all over the place and I passed god knows how may fallen trees on my journey home (which took twice as long! ). I get home to find my back gates flapping around in the wind - the wood where the locks are has just shattered. Anyone else living in the eye of the hurricane?

Rear offset will leave the wheel sitting too far inside the arch. I'm getting 10" rears and have gone for a +22. IMHO anything over +30 is too much but these things tend to be personal opinion to an extent and vary a little between wheels. Whether that offset clears the Brembos on UK cars is also an issue if you don't have an import. You could get spacers but most folk aren't keen.

Agreed. The rear bumper isn't that nice and I don't like the way it doesn't cleanly follow the line of the rear wheel arch. I wonder whether you could mix and match with a different rear bumper?

Any thoughts? I would like it a lot more if it fitted better. Those Volk wheels are nice though.

Just to complete the picture, on the date Steve is trying to book another club is in attendance at Duxford (not us) and apparently they need to be consulted before we can book. Steve is waiting for Duxford to confirm the contact details so he can speak to them and square it. Mystery cleared up and no conspiracy that I can see. However, when I asked him to alter their thread to show that it was a joint meet, as a gesture of good faith he declined, and the post that Val refers to above was added. Now that could be interpreted that some of the OC members are mistaking it for the National meet that they ran for members only last year and obviously will be running again this year, hence the link to their calendar. I'm not going attempt to interpret it either way and I doubt that Steve will feel he needs to clarify it for us. My own view is that at best Steve is organising a SE meet open to members and non-members alike at the OC (unlike the OC National). He (and the others on the OC) are "allowing" members of this site (and indeed any other Zed owners) to attend but I do not think this will ever be billed or described over there as a "joint meet". Perhaps we could have expected this when our website address remains banned. Now, I appreciate that many on both sides are completely disinterested in a feud going back 12 months and indeed many will have registered since then and have simply chosen the site they feel most comfortable to frequent or perhaps use both. The consensus I have picked up from these owners is that they are just interested in a meet where as many Zeds turn up as possible and they have a good time at a cool venue. However, entrenched views on both sides from those involved from the beginning are likely to stand in the way. I would ask that this thread is now used for constructive debate as to how we can take this forward and achieve what the rank and file users want to out of this meet. I think it only fair that if it then degenerates into the usual slanging match the thread is locked and we put the idea to bed. I would ask everyone who is thinking of posting to consider what they want to say carefully and to post respectfully. Oh, and you can publicly flame me if you think I'm talking out of my hat.
