  1. you're damn right you don't... Finally got one ordered from Stealer, the part has to be shipped from Holland!!! therefore at least another week of pissing fuel all over my engine bay and exhaust creating a hell of a mess not to mention billows of white smoke....
  2. Hey guys It's been some time since I've posted so I'm sorry to be coming looking for something but you see I've got a leaking dipstick seal which is causing oil to spew out into the engine bay under acceleration... I need a new dipstick. Anyone know where I can track one down in a hurry??? Thanks, Aaron.
  3. Mention the forum on ordering with Funky Styling and postage is FREE
  4. Agreed! Just back from3 weeks hooning around France, where I fitted Spill's kit. Best damn mod I've ever done! Soo smooth down low now!
  5. Just picked up the latest issue of EVO magazine where the 350z rates ***** while beating the all new TT rating ****1/2. 350z-uk.com is mentioned in an article as a source if info. etc. for anyone considering a zed... Sweet!!!
  6. headlight deflectors for £10 are you mad??? try a couple inches of insulating tape=headlamp deflector virtually free!
  7. I've been to France several times and you certainly need GB badge or plate...not sure if Scotland will do, but probably One Warning Triangle (two required if going to Spain) Fire Extinguisher Full set of spare bulbs...if you're stopped without a bulb working you can be kept until you procure a spare... nasty! I'd also reccommend beam deflectors just to be nice although the few times I've been, I've certainly been in the minority for having them! Also watch the speed limits... New French Law means instant ban for 15 days if caught at 40kmph (25mph) over the limit... i.e. don't get caught at 95mph on a motorway p.s. Enjoy your trip boie!!!
  8. yeah glad you're so impressed 'cause Parmagard is also high on my to-do list! I'm an avid EVO enthusiast and they've been very impressed with the product on their Fezza 550...
  9. thanks guys a few nice ideas there but I just can't see Hannah packing all her tidy whities in pillow cases for the flight to Stansted to pick up the zed!!!
  10. Thanks P15ULT. Yeah I'm aware of that site, you're right they're expensive. But I've got luggage, I just want to see if I can find out what I can bring... Any ideas??? LxDxH etc.
  11. Hi guys, I have a strange queiry... As several of you know I'm in Ireland at the mo while my zed resides in Norwich. Now I'm off on a two and a half week driving holiday to France in 3 weeks and need to know what amount of luggage I can bring (well Hannah needs to know how much she can bring...). I won't see the zed until I land back in old blighty with my luggage for the trip... Can anyone out there throw a measuring tape around the boot and give me the general dimensions? Any help would be great!
  12. Well it would appear that it's not as simple as I thought. I guess I'll just have to stick with the digital readout... It's just a balls when accelerating through the gears and you have to watch the speed limits etc. Oh well.
  13. Hi guys, I'm looking for some info... When I drive I tend to hold the wheel with my right hand , changing gears with left...just as we all do!!! The thing is, it really annoys me that the speedo is blocked from view by my right hand, my other car has speedo on the left which is excellent. Question (finally) Can the speedo be taken out and switched with the other dial on the left with temp etc? If so has anyone done it? Any tips? Am I just being anal??? It's just a tiny irk in otherwise delightful motoring... Many thanks!
  14. yeah not too keen on the lights but I just love the smoove bootlid. I'd love to take off the small spoiler that seems to be ubiquitous on all UK zeds but I've been told that it's v.v.difficult to get the holes filled and smoothed perfectly flat... Any ideas???
  15. Dudes...Lets spread the love...any chance of a PM???
  16. Ch-check it...I'm GM not Blade...Classy!!!
  17. I believe most modern engines are run-in on bench during car manufacture nowadays, but to take it easy for a few thousand miles to help loosen up the internals is undoubtedly the best way forward. It's like a sprinter trying to race without warming up...he risks pulling a muscle and getting injured, so too the engine. A delicate loud foot for the first few miles will deffo help smooth out the engine in fine style. Well thats my take on it anyway...

    Oh no......

Ha Ha Nice one, not sure Val will be too impressed though...
  19. I'm sorry to hear your woes mate but I surely remember that feeling going to collect the zed... Just you wait to get your hands on that key... It'll be like
  20. another Optometrist I'm afraid... Practicing!
  21. Guys I need some advice. I've got a bit of bodywork damage needing repair. Mainly chips and stuff... The Norwich agent for ChipsAway got back to me today. When I described the colour of the car (GM) and that I wanted the repairs invisible he said he couldn't do it. He's one of ChipsAway's more experienced guys and he said that Metallic Gunmetal wouldn't be suitable. The repairs would end up darker and he reckons would look pants! Anyone out there with GM have any experiences??? I'd love your collective tupence worth... Ta.
  22. itrip is a good device, but the quality of sound and lack of interference really depends on your location and therefore the number and density of stations. So imho in London where the station density is pretty filling the FM dial your signal will be poorer than if you're in the country with less stations. Then you've only got to pick a frequency without a station on either side and you're sweet...
