Just caught this post...I quite like the single exit look.. in fact I'd have one on mine..gives the car a more street racer / competition look

  8. Hi Mate Welcome are you planning on driving on the r/h side of the road then ??
  9. You can use tape to adjust beam cut off for MOT purposes , but it wont pass the SVA test..then it must have UK type cut off headlights fitted
  10. I would make that a question when buying either a JDM or UK car... make sure it has all the keys with it... I seem to think it will cost £150 for a UK car Good bargaining point to drive the price down

  13. That's what I'm worried about! Any ideas what the torque settings are?? found the Kinetix instructions on line here http://www.350zfreak.com/plenum.htm I assume the gasket is reuseable then?? yep , so long as you havent damaged it

  15. metal gasket between plenum, I seem to remember when I swopped mine (long time ago now ) just get good quality allen key's to undo the bolts as they can strip out the centres easily.. I used a torque wrench to retighten as it easy to overtighten the 6mm bolts and strip the threads and dont drop anything down the inlet
  16. Look at it this way if you see a ropey UK car for £15k and a mint JDM car same age for same money, same age , same mileage which would you buy ? if the answer's the UK car you want your Ass kicking
  17. I have had my JDM for just 2 years now , as regards servicing I have done it all myself, (That is change the oil / filter regularly, only other necessary servicing work was to swop brake discs and pads ) Never failed to start , no problems whatsoever, I would never entrust my car to a Nissan dealer...
  18. Snow and Zed leave it in the garage..it will work out cheaper in the long run these cars are not for snow and icy conditions no matter what rubber you have on
  19. Sorry to be such a noob, but which one's Tim - prescience or lomoto? Mal. Noobs Haha only joking mate my bad.... Tim = Lomoto = Old man
