I don't think insurances have distinctions on import models, like they have for our 2 models (base and GT). they only ask if it's an import. So if he's got an ST he might as well try and get it insured for a GT Uk one (as in the same specs) if he manages it. Anyone with an import ever insured it with their jap models as leeroy mentions?? just insured mine as a 350z I find the more you tell insurance companies the more complicated it gets(ie more expensive)
