  2. It does look very good Dorian. I've been putting off posting this cos I don't want to come across as an ar5e. The outside portion of the leather at the back of the seat and the outside of the bolster look like they might be a bit.........saggy? It still looks great and I love the combination but I would find it hard to live with. Sorry.
  3. How many speedos do you need!!??!! My speedo/pod always seem to read the same anyway. Like you guys, most of the time I use Tomtom - then you can go faster.
  4. Hi Ian, As the guys have already said, GPS will normally be most accurate but as far as Pod V Speedo it states in the manual that "The speed indicator in the trip computer indicates the reference speed. The actual speed indicated by the speedometer may differ from the one in the trip computer" Hope that helps.
  5. "Llandow is quite a small circuit - just under a mile long. This means it's perfect for track-day virgins like the wife & I - you never get up to silly speeds. I never got higher than 4th gear all day. " The Zed'll do 125mph in 4th I never got higher than 4th at Brands Hatch. (Indy) Sounds like a great time! Glad you enjoyed it.
  6. I honestly would have chosen yellow. I think it's stunning. Post up the big version of your avatar so we know what it looks like filthy! I would love to but I seem to have deleted the full pic. One of my fave pics of the car as well. I'll just have to get it filthy again. EDIT: I found it!!

  8. I see. Does look reminiscent of the golden arches on the door.
  9. All this abuse and I said that I quite like Azure. The yellow shows the cars' curves beautifully IMO. Ba5tard colour to keep on top of mind. Looks superb when it's clean and purposeful when filthy. And...........no salesman talked me into anything.
  10. It's a 20 minute job including taking the wheels off - seriously, couldn't be much easier. I could do it in 10 Cowboy Yeehaa.

  16. Changed mine tonight funny enough. Really easy to do as well. That's racing bred calipers for you.
  17. I think in this case the pleasure is "aural". Who cares if it gives extra 'orses? It sounds AMAZING!!!
  18. Hi Mugwump. It's a tailored day arranged through the other site. The guy that runs CAT was involved in the European development work for the Zed and we've been promised a "special" day. It's not cheap at £290 a head but it's not a track day as such. I'll do a report after the event. BTW your "back on topic" point is absolutely spot on as far as I'm concerned. (Did you see what I did there - back on topic in a flash )
  19. Sure will. Anyway, don't want to stray too far 159 MPH is fast on a public road innit.
  20. Freudian slip there mate!! (Knowing me it would be!!) No - doing a CAT driver training day at Millbrook. http://www.catdrivertraining.co.uk Get to have a go on the high speed bowl.
  21. I believe that's possible in the zed Will be doing my best to find out middle of next month!
  22. Is this the same bloke that they said was "practicing" before?? One law for them......... Of course he'll get off. (I really hope they throw the book at him as if he was Joe Public but can't see it happening)
  23. It's between the seats behind you. Next to the storage cubby. Enjoy the test drive! I'm sure you will.
