  1. Gents Am I missing something. The National meet on the OC is in sept, why are we not joining in on that one, as seems silly to have 2 national meets in the same year. I would not go to both is there was 2, and I am sure there would be many in the same boat. As we just missing out on the 2006 national meet and have one in 2007. Steve
  2. Think its in Sept, will let our committee approach them, as do not want to butt in when not my job, but if you want I could ask as I am a member over there. Steve
  3. CDR, Welcopme to the site. Hope all is well out in France. Is there a way you can invert the signal (correct it). I know you can get some camera's that do this inside the camera itself.
  4. Southampton good for me also. How much is a day trip to france from Portsmouth, then we could do photo shot.
  5. Bridges getting built due to JAE, well at least they did not mind too much when we visted them and they return the favour. Might see those pigs fly yet. Steve
  6. Why does the new nismo front look like the Z is smiling.
  7. It is simply their meet, not an official Nissan one. Think they are trying to get cars from NMGB but will wait to see if one of their committee posts here. Would be nice is they could do it joint then it would truly be a National meet but we will see. Regards Steve
  8. I am from Oxford ands up for a Southern meet. Prove there is some culture down here. Always up for a French trip is someone wants to organise.
  9. Same as mikey for me. used long nose pilers.
  10. Big thanks to all at JAE. Val & Martin for arranging event, (great slot for fireworks and bar access) Cris for having the club in the first place, Liam & Bob for all that food and cooking, Jacko for beer. All others for the great company and really enjoyable weekend. Looked really impressive with so many of us there. Sorry I did not have anything as thought we where going out that night. Regards Steve
  11. kev, what speed do you reach. after 100MPH mine not quite as rapid. After 120-130 it will top out on revs.
  12. Yeap, just saturday and its only £60 for B+B
  13. Kev, Was really hoping to see you at last, try to come along if you can. Bring the cossie. Are you going for the porker then. Steve

  15. Good ideal sarnie as I sometimes do this, however its the same on almost every forum I go to. Therefore must be difficult to fix. Never know we may be lucky, will wait to see if there is a way from the admins PS may be better to label the thread "I hate this feature" as I am sure you do not hate the site.
  16. Try bob at RJN motorsports. He may have some. steve
  17. Think that’s a touch expensive. The most expensive one on PistonHeads is 24k for a GT4, which I am sure would go for less. Kits and wheels count for very little when second hand. I know of a Twin Turbo 2004 one on this site go for lot less than 27k and that’s a 10k upgrade. Steve PS Welcome to the site
  18. Some companies will give you a discount if you have been a named driver on other cars...does this apply to you. I am with a company that only take people with 4 years NC so no good there. If it is only 200 over the previous quote just go for it. It will go down 20% next year so in the big picture it just one of those things, like Death and Taxes you cannot get away from them. There is a few specialists that Lotus and Caterham boys use but they may not be cheaper, let me know if you need the details. Steve
  19. I use the tunnel all the time now. Biggest benefit is if you are either late or early you can move the booking. Sometime there is even a train every 30 and 17 mins. If you miss the ferry you will wait ages. After about 10 trips I think I have made my original booking time just once. (Normally book it for latter in case of trouble, but turn up early) Given the distance you will cover in France, the extra 100 miles from Calais down will not matter. (unless you really have to go to St Malo) Just my 2 cents worth. Steve
  20. Yeap the Toyo's Also had dunlop SP9000 and think they are useless. Steve
  21. Val, Put me down for this....but will be bring the Z, and the 7 on tow. Will only be driving one at a time so just one place please. For a vid see http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid ... 9152208371 Steve
  22. I have these are they work great dry or wet. Only thing is they do not seem to wear out. Now done approx 10k on them and they still have massive amount of tread left.
  23. I think over 2-3 thousand, but I am sure someone will be along with more accurate answer. Steve
