  5. Does it matter who posted it, surely as if it is not offensive to the darkside's members then anyone should be allowed to post to sell their mota. However I think is it maybe down to the fact you have not paid the £30. Eddy and George seemed to have done so and can post links.....well perhaps they are just selective or just want your money, best to ask them why to avoid speculation. If it is a members only thing let me know and I will see if it is okay to post link on your behalf. IIRC also have had links removed and also have certainly been asked to remove links in my home page to here. Steve
  6. Bazza I use firefox and its okay.
  7. Steve, You just got to do it atleast once. If you can try to combine it with a SPA trip as you will drive past it on the way to the Ring. Pic of my attempt last year. http://ringbunny.fotopic.net/p21317997.html I suggest you get there early as get crowded mid-day onwards. Brakes will get hot, and you will not learn it in one day so just enjoy. My time between bridges was 10 mins 16secs, slower than a Ford Transit in the right hands. But I think I could do much better now. Steve PS do not know who this was and did not even see him on the day as lots of cars bikes there. http://ringbunny.fotopic.net/p21318000.html
  8. No one else coming. I think we have given up one session to Easytrack so you could book to go round the circuit on Saturday. Just Visit easytrack.co.uk site Steve
  9. Space, You got exactly the same as me, and get the same result. But not surprised as Bob (RJN) did mine back in Sept 2005. Steve PS John RJN is really close to you. Only 5 mins from Williams F1 at Grove. Give them a call and you will even get to see their cars, worth a look.
  10. Grant, I went for Nismo pads which seem goot, but now are noisy. If the disk is hosed and you happy with OEM but want cheap, try RJN as thats where I got mine at about 50% of Nissan price. 2nd hand but hardly used as they were from the JP ones for the Bedford z's
  11. Got North Weald next Friday but is a Lotus only session so none on here likely to be there. If you are a new to tracks, then have a look at EasyTrack (these are LoT days really) as they are now doing evening begineers sessions at Brands and Bedford. Good way to get on track for a couple of hours and test the water and you do not have to take a full day off work. Steve
  12. Anyone in a 350z going to Abingdon on Friday or Bedford on Saturday. Would be great to see you lot out again. Steve
  13. Hi, Just read this on Nissan site....seems if you want to save money and mind loss in power its okay to run 95. Question: The brochure indicates the 350Z uses 98octane fuel, however in other countries this has been banned or phased out. Is this something that may be planned for the UK? Is it possible to use 95 octane? Answer: Yes, the brochure recommends using 98 octane and all the performance figures quoted are achieved using 98 octane. As far as we are aware, there are no plans to phase out 98 octane unleaded fuel in the UK. The 350Z will run without any problems on 95 octane unleaded. There will be some loss of performance as a result (about 15PS) but no long term effects on the engine.
  14. I did North of France, Belgium, Lux and Holland 2 years ago. Word of warning is France is shut on Monday's, well Monet Garden is. Reims is great if you book a Veuve Cliquot visit, Belgium not up to much, Lux is only worth 1 day visit, but there is a very good restaurant right in middle of town. But 3 days in Amsterdam was the best bit. Expensive to park and nightmare to drive round city centre. If only doing France, then Le Mans is close, Abbeville is only 1 hour south of tunnel, lots of Normandy invasion stuff if that turns you on. Reims also has an old race track, but all you can see is the pits garages which are kind of famous. Will dig out the exact route for you. Steve
  15. Its more like a rub strip. Does not seem to do anything else and all UK models have one. Steve
  16. Andy, Agree with Gus, that you need Toyo's I started with the Bridgestones as per factory fit, then went Dunlop and now ahve Toyo. Toyo have been 100% better than the others. Steve
  17. What you going for Val.....lot 668 iis worth a look depending on price.
  18. Thats why I stick to tracking, not race series. Hope the chap was okay as he looked a bit winded / in shock. If you were the following car, would you have brown trousers. Just watched the second vid and the medical attention is shocking.
  19. Cheers Glyn, The sale is same day as your drift day, same as my bedford trip. It would be ideal to get a list together for those that do not have axle stands and jacks. I will see if I can drag out vids from the day, Val Grant and I did. Regards Steve I'm usually lurking around here at some point mate ..... consider them passed and reciprocated I'll pick up anything you like Steve ...... but I do draw the line at getting my wallet out ...... it disturbs the moths you understand I work all of about 10 minutes away from the Rover so if I can be of help, please don't hesitate to ask Even if it's just a during the day pick up for you to collect later mate ! Val, you telling me you're rinkey dinkey new lap top doesn't have wireless broadband I was expecting you to be bidding on one of those Mangusta based beasts They're kindagrowing on me !!!! And if anyone else wants to come take the **** out of my spinning like a top at Oulton PArk on Saturday, I'm sure you'd be welcome ...... but if you don't go you don't get to take the mickey
  20. Digsby, Try a 6210 -6230i Its what we used to have a at work. Now some updated Nokia model but most of us have had the phone for 3+ years and 2+ hours a day on average. I would say we have approx 100+ phones and just looked at my counter and has just over 433 Hours of calls since last reset. They seem robust. Steve
  21. Cheers will PM you. Perhaps you can get Gyln to buy them for me.... Brum not a problem for me to pick up...just cannot go on the day. Steve
  22. well if you manage to get an extra trolley jack and axle stands let me know... Pass my regards to Glyn.....
  23. Did you see where the second lorry came from...not me
