  1. Sounds like fun. Definitely going for the Gemini v2, just need to think about whether to add HFCs the same time or run the exhaust for a bit first which I may do, then add HFCs and a Ecutek tune at the same time. That’s the current plan..
  2. Thanks for posting that - I hadn’t noticed it on the other thread - my bad! Really like the look of it and from what I’m hearing getting some high flow cats may help with the sound! Definitely food for thought!
  3. Did you get your Invidia Gemini exhaust installed on your Nismo? I am interested to hear what you think of it, and the fitting.
  4. Thanks for all the help and guidance folks. I've installed some AFE pro dry filters and I think I'm going for a staged approach and get the Invidia exhaust next. Once I've run that for a while, I can then work out if I am happy to increase the sound a bit more and add HFCs before getting an Ecutek map done. Might sound a tad too sensible as an approach but it's probably the best way to avoid going all in straight away and possibly regretting it (which I have in the past albeit 10 years ago). I suspect I will end up with HFCs as well, but no rush 🙂. Just need to find someone to fit the exhaust near me now before ordering..
  5. Ooh that sounds lovely! Thanks for sharing!
  6. Thanks all. I would love to go to Japfest but currently I am due to be in Belgium at another event (that might change though). Back to the research (which I quite enjoy actually!)
  7. Thanks all - really helpful information. I think I'm sold on the exhaust, just need to think about the other items now.
  8. Thanks for the tip Andy. I'll have a think as I don't want it too loud (i.e. no drone - had that before on a previous car and it was a disaster).
  9. Thx Andy - yes trying to work out the order of things. If I decide to go down that route, I expect I'm better to get them installed before I go down any remapping or at the same time to avoid any issues.
  10. Thanks for the guidance Jack! Really appreciated 🙂
  11. Hi all, I fully appreciate that this topic has been around the houses many times, and I have reviewed a number of forum conversations on it. However I am thinking of installing some air filters on my 370 Nismo and potentially going for an Invidia Gemini V2 cat-back exhaust followed by an Ecutek at some point. I am not interested in max power gains on an NA, more driveability and a slightly better engine note. I think CAI is a step too far and I have read varying degrees of success on them other than the engine bling factor (please let me know if this is misguided). I am not really sure how much of an issue heat soak is on the 370 Nismo either which would be the only reason I would consider CAI. Anyone have experience on air filters (and / or the exhaust) and be able to advise on recommended products? My normal go to is K&N or BMC for air filters. Thanks in advance 🙂
  12. Sounds great - I'm in! Not too far from me either which is a bonus!
  13. Hi Mark, thx for sharing - certainly looks good! I might give my local one a call!
  14. Thx Mark. Be good to see some pics
  15. Hi Mark, how did you find the quality of the repair done on your bumper? Asking as I have some stone chips I need to get repaired at some point.
  16. I was in disguise in my old vw Polo today - didn't envy the driver of the 370Z in that monsoon rain around lunchtime!
  17. Terrible news. He was such a great showman and from all the media outpouring today a really nice bloke and family man. RIP.
  18. Might be worth contacting the exhaust manufacturers direct as well to check on product fitment for your car. Horsham developments are also listing the Gemini product in addition to Cobra exhausts at the moment, so you may want to contact them for an opinion as well as Torqen and Tarmac Sports. I plan to get the Gemini for my 2019 m2 Nismo next year so will be contacting all the above before taking the plunge just to be sure.
  19. Spotted a lovely yellow 370Z coming from Wellesbourne direction on the roundabout. I was heading in the opposite direction in my white Nismo.
  20. Hi all, did anyone find out in the end whether Horsham can stop the fake sound either as part of a service or via a remap? Or whether a Nismo dealer can do it? I plan to change the exhaust next year but in the meantime deleting that fake noise would be great!
  21. Hi all, New to the site and also to a 370Z Nismo I picked up yesterday. Really enjoying it already - it certainly turns heads! Looking forward to learning more about the vehicles and owners via this Forum (and eventually some upgrades)!
