I had a sneaky suspicion that would be the case.

Your phone is the best way to go. Cars don't give updates.
As in speed cameras.
All my cars have satnav they are out of date.
Yeah I get that Pete. What I'm want to do is get Waze from my phone onto the car's nav screen, per my question.
-
As much as the standard sat nav is 'okay', I want to start using Waze if possible for a couple of upcoming trips, one being into Europe.
So, I have the Waze app on my phone - how, if at all, can I connect and display on the car's actual nav display screen? Would it be purely by Bluetooth and/or by use of the aux input sockets within the centre armrest storage?
Or is is just an impossibility, given the low tech state of the whole system?
Sorry for the dim questions - this sort of thing isn't my specialist subject!
Cheers for any help or guidance.

Not suprised. If you have £45k theres a lot that can be had. The last ones were 2020. Brand new they were £38k.....before the announcement of production end.
Yeah, but that's taking the wee-wee to extremes surely. I can't imagine anyone paying that for it, I certainly wouldn't when , as you say, you can get a lot for £45k.

No it's not the tax more the general price of the zed it's so inconsistent .
And trade seems to be buying all the lower tax zeds
So many dealers on the "classic" and "modern classic" bandwagon these days, trying to inflate the price of anything.

Let me guess........."Road Tax"
I had a 17 Nismo in summer 2017 bought 3 months old for £26,000. Guess how much they are today....If you wana pay £26,000 for a 67 to save £450 on VED on a 2009 car go ahead! Its the same car.
Also the tax back then was £575
I saw a low miles 2020 370Z Nismo for sale in an indie dealer the other day for............. £45,000
They weren't even that new at the last knockings, were they?
-
Happened to me when I bought my 370Z a couple of years ago. Even the dealer hadn't noticed (couldn't be arsed?) that the DVLA had it down as a 350Z.
A phone call to DVLA after I got it home got it sorted.

Just 45k miles? A good find.
Hope you get to know and enjoy it.

None. Had the car fully ceramic coated. No more polishing. Just wash and go in ten mins. Best money ever spent.😍
Coming along to the Forest Row meet on Sunday 9th April Martin? Would love to see the car.
Anyway, who did the ceramic coating for you?

I thought about putting it on Car and Classic, but I'm not keen on lots of folks coming round to kick the tyres. What was your experience when you put yours on ? - it seemed to pretty quick IIRC.
Firstly, sorry to hear of your wife's ill health.
Car and Classic auctions are a different kettle of fish, I've know a few to sell successfully there. One winning buyer, only one person to come round and take the car away. Okay, there's a commission to pay if sold, but if you don't achieve your reserve, just pull the plug - nothing ventured, nothing gained and it's not cost you a penny.
That really is a stunning TR6 - I only wish I had a spare garage space for it!

If only Barnsley wasn't so far from Surrey!
They'll be snapped up pretty quick anyway.

Next meet is on Sunday 12th March.
Last Sunday's was pretty good with over 200 cars counted in during the morning. The Jap area was rammed as well.
All welcome next month, but the theme will be German stuff in their separate area this time.

Just bumping this post, seeing as it's this Sunday.

Tasteful mod, looks good.

Welcome along, looks like a sound purchase.
I'm no expert, but I imagine that a white 350Z is quite a rare beast. I can't recall ever seeing one before.

Looks good Martin, hope to see it sometime.
Maybe bring it along to the Forest Row meet on 12th February if you can.
-
Welcome along, that looks like a very clean example.

I was sure your name was 'Laurence Cochrane Newtownards Co Down' from your first post ... my bad
I was thinking exactly the same!
A bit like me had I been named Keith Jones Horley Surrey RH6!

Thanks Stu, arrived yesterday.
Top photos as usual - I thought I hadn't made the grade, but I didn't realise that it ran up until January 2024!
Zero marks for me for not paying attention then!

Thanks, if the Z was a long term keeper then I might invest in something like this. But I'll keep this info in my back pocket for consideration.
