Thanks for all the info. Looks like its a pipe blockage from the pump to the front screen, as ive swapped over the rear and front tube at the motor side (so technically when i press the rear, it should now operate the front) but it still doesnt work. Tried to blow compressed air back through the jet and no bubbling at the tank. I will buy from wash piping and re-route i think.

Im after a CAM and Crank Sensor. EML on and OBD printout shows Crank Sensor, but mechanic thinks it could be either or, so may as well replace both (hes not trying to sting me for money, as hes a good friend).

It’s been on a computer today. Crank Sensor. Mechanic think that still could mean CAM Sensor. So going to replace both.

Thanks for all the help lads. Where would i pick up a CAM Sensor? Seems to be the go to thing to replace.

Well the 2nd hand car market misery strikes on day 2 !!! All fine yesterday. All fine this morning. Come to work tonight, and the Engine Warning light popped on, lost power for seconds and the SLIP and TCS lights on. Now takes around 5 seconds to start also. Ive seen there is some history of this problem in the forum, so hope its an easy fix. Hoping it will get me home !!!!!!

Hi Guys, Finally purchased a JDM Auto Z. This one needs a little TLC, but not too much. Mechanically seems sounds.

Yeah system is full. I haven't checked the pump runs actually. Great shout.

Anybody got any tips to diagnose this? The feed going into the front wipers is not getting any water. just wondering before I start stripping the car down if there is a common problem?

@marzman How did you find the brakes? Im hearing people say they are almost dangerous when they are the OEM (not Brembo) 1 pot discs?

So other than the not knowing when that converter was fitted, it sounds like i should be OK. Going to see it on Sunday. Will make sure i take all the hints and tips from this site, and i should be fine. If the earliest MOT was 2012, does that mean it was imported then?

I’m also guessing it’s limited. But not really too bothered about that. Sure it’s something I can sort at a later date.

I'm looking at purchasing an Import this weekend. I've read so much stuff online and on this site. Some of it contradicts each other. So . . . 1: If the Speedo has M/H at the bottom (and no the K has not been black markered out), does that mean it has MPH clocks in? 2: The centre clocks. Do they live read out in MPH? So i could swap them out for a UK set with no problems? Thanks for any help guys. . .
