  1. Guys... Late to the thread but I've paid for tickets through the club and can't see my name on the list. It's my first time and just want to make sure everything's done right! Who's heading up from the South Coast tomorrow morning? I'm near Chichester
  2. I don't think it's locked on as there's no light showing on the dash. Nor is the light on when starting the engine. How would I go about changing the switch? Literally pull the one out, reconnect the new one and keep my fingers crossed for a response? Thanks for your help 👌
  3. Hi guys. I've recently bought my first 350z, a Japanese import 35th anniversary edition. Loving every second of it so far. Been ticking off a few jobs from the list, and next is... The VDC switch doesn't seem to work. Once pressed (and/or held down) it doesn't do anything as far as I can see. No light on the dash. That said, once the car is started up before the engine is startee the light doesn't come up on the dash either. I've checked the fuse which is fine but am stumped as to what to do next. Is this a common problem? Am I missing something obvious? Thanks.
  4. Thanks for the feedback so far. Here's the ad for the UK gt: https://www.gumtree.com/p/nissan/nissan-350z-/1394509690 And here's an ad for the jap 35th anniversary: https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/867845257313436/
  5. Hi everyone, I'm soon to be a 350z owner with a 5-6k budget. I've got my eye on a couple in my area, been to view a few and two stand out: 2006 manual rev up gt, tidy body work, well maintained, wheels need a refurb and exhaust will need replacing within 12 months. 86k on the clock. Asking price £6000. Or 2005 35th anniversary jdm manual import, Rev up engine with the 7k rpm, anniversary wheels, mats, badges etc etc. Again, full service history, well maintained, imported at 20km and now on 60km. Wheels will also need refurb and a small crack in the bumper, but other than that it's very tidy. Asking price £5000. Insurance for myself at 29 is coming in at £180 for the 2006 gt and £270 for the import, so no worries there. I'm assuming tax on the import will be the lower tax band being a 2005 model, whereas the gt is in the higher bracket. Just wanted to know your thoughts on both options. Am I going to regret going for the cheaper jdm down the line? Is there anything I should know going forward or does the import sound like a cracking deal for essentially a very similarly specd car? (the anniversary is japan's equivalent of the gt4 from what I can see online) Would appreciate any thoughts! Cheers
