  1. Hi mate, is postage an option for this fog light? cheers Martin
  2. I know my reversing sensors are extremely keen, I get the single beep when reverse is engaged, followed by a rapid beep when approaching an obstruction which gets more rapid the closer I get. Some times it'll happen, I'll instantly sh!t myself and brake, have a double check, and I'm still 3 foot away from the garden post I don't think mines an issue, with the limited rear viability in these cars,I like the fact that its over cautious, ......If only I could apply the same settings to my wifes car!
  3. fingers crossed you'll get the positive result I got!
  4. Just an update on this, after reading this post and suffering the same issues, particularly the delay in dropping from 2nd to 1st gears I decided to get the AT fluid drained and refilled with fresh dexron VI fluid and the difference is night and day! Its completely resolved the issue and feels like driving a new car!! My Zed has done 50K mikes, so definitely ignore the Nissan recommendation that the OEM fluid lasts a lifetime, if anyone is experiencing similar issues, its definitely worth swapping out the fluid to see if that resolves. Cheers Martin
  5. I've been using 99ron from a Tesco store in the North West (Blackpool Marton store) will this Esso fuel be superior to the Tesco stuff, I know they are with basic fuels, but is 99ron just 99ron wherever you go? cheers
  6. or could anyone point me in the direction of where I could buy a new one within the U.K? I've found one here in the U.S for only £16, https://www.nissanpartsdeal.com/online/shopping/cart?previousURL=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.nissanpartsdeal.com%2F but the shipping is £21, then I'll no doubt get spanked for a customs handling fee, so would prefer to find a U.K stockist if possible. thanks in advance
  7. looking to replace my worn OEM 370Z logo floor mats if anyone has any they dont need, looking for new, or very good condition ideally. Also interested in getting hold of an original logo'd boot liner, I suspect the carpet in my Z is an aftermarket replacement cheers Martin
  8. Hi Guys, I've removed my stock undertray from my 2009 370Z and replaced with an aluminium Torqen tray. Seems a shame to throw it away if someone can use it, its a little battered with some heave scrapes as you can see in the photo's, but still does the job, I also have the majority of of the fixings. If anyone can use it, let me know, its free to a good home. collection only from the Fylde Coast area of Lancashire
  9. Morning all, Just a quick one, I replaced the air intakes pipes on my 2009 370Z over the weekend and fitted some silicone intake tubes, cant say I've noticed any difference in performance or sound, but hey ho, it kept me out of trouble for 45 mins. The passenger side intake hose had an additional chamber (as per the photo), which the replacement silicone upgrade didn't accommodate for. I was just curious, what does this chamber do? and if it does serve a purpose, why isn't it required on upgraded silicone intake pipes? many thanks Martin

I said all the ones I had seen had the keyhole cut out, now that I've looked again that cant be true, I had these stuck in my mind, I saw them on this site, but its a U.S site, and looks very armature, so not sure I'd like to risk my hard earned cash, and even if they were legit, you'll probably get spanked with import tax. http://www.evo-r.net/product/370Z/index.html I understand your concern about not being able to use your key, but the Torqen's do look far nicer without the manual key hole. Plus, on the off chance you do need to use your manual key, surely they don't stick on to the point you couldn't carefully remove the drivers side cover to get in the car, then re-apply with some double sided 3m tape? it would only be once in a blue moon If you can get over that issue, I'd stick with your Torqens, thats where I'll be going
  11. Great! if this isn't something I have to live with, I'd love to get it sorted. Let me know how you get on after the transmission fluid change, if that sorts it, that's definitely going to be the next job!

Where did you get the covers from mate? I'm looking to buy some, but all the ones I've seen have the manual keyhole present.
  13. my 2009 with 51K does exactly the same in first gear, stop at a junction, slight delay before kicking in, then seems to jump forward all of a sudden, and if you happen to give it any gas during this pause, when it does engage, the back end spins out of control, I've done this a couple of times at low speeds in the wet and ended up sideways!! I just thought this was one of the characteristics of the car that I'd have to get used to?? id also appreciate any advise if this doesn't sound right, cheers
  14. apologies, this should be in the 370Z modifications section, unsure how to move
  15. Morning all, Mods - Please could you move this post to the 370 Performance section. just a quick one, I replaced the air intakes pipes on my 2009 370Z over the weekend and fitted some inexpensive silicone intake tubes, cant say I've noticed any difference in performance or sound, but hey ho, it kept me out of trouble for 45 mins. The passenger side intake hose had an additional chamber (as per the photo), which the replacement silicone upgrade didn't accommodate for, I was just curious, what does this chamber do? and if it does serve a purpose, why isnt it required on upgraded silicone intake pipes? many thanks Martin
