  1. Yep, this is indeed on a 370Z. So I tried putting the fob in the slot when I managed to get into the car, whilst the alarm was going off. But I couldn't seem to use the buttons after having pulled the key out again.
  2. As per the title, unfortunately. My primary key fob was showing in the gauge cluster that it needed a battery replacement, so I decided to do both in the same go. However, when I press the buttons on either of the fobs, I don't get any response from the car. I'm having to unlock the car with the manual key, which doesn't seem to fully unlock the car and results in the alarm going off rather embarrassingly. I was doing some reading and discovered this over on the 350z part of this forum; I'm guessing my car is also in "locked mode", so I'm wondering how to get it out of that and how to reprogram the keys. This is the first time that I've replaced the battery, so I'm quite unfamiliar with the process. Cheers, Scott --- Edit; It's worth pointing out that the car does seem to accept the key in the socket, as it was indicating to remove the key since the door was still open (like it always does). I was also able to turn the engine on fine. However, once I was out of the car and shut the door, I then found out that the door remained locked.
  3. Got the car going into FTP in a couple of weeks! Seem like a bunch of top blokes up there.
  4. I called them up and they said that they're only a body shop, not doing anything mechanical. Guess I'm going to have to talk to Torqen directly
  5. Hey guys, Looking to get a few things done on my Zed given it's coming up to my 3rd year of ownership - oh how time flies! Mainly, I'm looking to get the JWT lightened flywheel and clutch kit from Torqen, as well as pads and discs all around (most probably EBC). I've seen RT recommended here, but was wondering if there were any recommended spots even more central? Cheers
  6. Hey! It seems that over the past night or so someone has decided to take matters into their own hands and apply a small amount of weight-saving to my car, in the form of prying off the Headlight Washer Caps with a screwdriver. Joy of joys. Does anyone know the part numbers for these and where would be the best place to get them from? Bit frustrating, but just have to replace it now. Gives me a chance to finally wash behind them! Cheers!
  7. Hey Andy, Thanks for that, I'll take a look into them. Cheers, Scott
  8. Hey guys, Just wondering if there are any recommendations on places to go for Resonator deletes? Not looking to travel too far but happy to be flexible (Tamworth based). Looking to get some more of that lovely rasp. Cheers, Scott
  9. Reviving a very old post but wondering if there are any left?
  10. Haven't tried the MPSS on my Zed, but had them on my Polo previously and absolutely loved them. So much grip in the dry giving you plenty of confidence on the twisties. Not the greatest in the cold but then again, they're a Summer tyre. Definitely get my +1
  11. I'd take electric cars seriously (for want of a better word) if they didn't take so long to charge! The last thing I want to have to do on a long jouney is factor in another half hour just to be able to travel a full tanks worth again. I get that you can charge the car at home (albeit, very slowly), but that all goes out the window when you want to go further than say London to Manchester. I'm defintely a fan of driving, but I'm not a fan of waiting!
  12. Thanks for all of the greetings! Appreciate the input on the exhuasts too, going to have to do some proper research to find what I want. This is probably where I got the worries from, lots of results with regards to oil temps on the other 370z forum. Planning on doing a change within 1k so I know exactly what oil is in. Will keep the 125 figure in mind - thanks for the info! Cheers
  13. Hey! Been lurking in here for a couple of months now and finally managed to get my hands on a 2012 370Z. Has been nearly a year in the making so very excited to start driving it properly! Coming from a Polo GTI, it's definitely a massive step up. The car itself is pretty clean, as you'd hope after only ~30k miles. Still in the early phases of getting a new car so pretty paranoid about all the different noises it makes (the polo I had wasn't reliable in the slightest!) Definitely looking forward to making it my own, oil cooler is where I'm thinking of starting. I know after some research that the temps have a tendancy to climb quite a bit (have already seen them rise even after a few quick pulls). Is there a recommended highest temp before the car goes into limp? I've been letting it cool off before it gets anywhere near 110. Also definitely looking to get a bit more noise out of her! Definitely quite surprising just how quiet they are stock. Have seen a few videos of a back box delete, and that's the way I'm leaning. Any recommendations on getting that done (or just DIY), would be fantastic! Super excited to be more involved in this community, some really nice looking Zeds in here as well as an abundance of knowledge! About 15 minutes from Tamworth so let me know if you're in the area! Cheers, Scott
  14. Awesome write up, some of those views are truly spectactular! Looks like you had a great time! Love the pictures of all three parked up next to each other, all very good looking Zeds!
  15. Just jumped on this thread - absolutely love what you've done with the car so far! Especially love the bonnet and wheels. They work so well
