    What was the outcome to this? I've looked at mine and have exactly this, in exactly the same places. It's caused me to go over with a fine tooth comb and I've not found anything else but want to get this sorted. I have full dealer history so wondering if Nissan will be kind especially as I work for them

    I cleaned it up a little and left it to that. I don't have full dealer service history, so doubt Nissan would entertain looking at it. But for you sounds like a no brainer mate. Get on to them & see what they say.

  2. The time has come to try and sell my beloved zed. I've come to terms with letting it go (4yrs is a good stint!). I don't do long motorway cruises anymore (reason I bought it), and now fancy something a bit more raw/unrefined for the local blasts while I still can! So with a heavy heart, details below...

    2013 62 Nissan 370z GT Edition in pearlescent white. 7 speed auto, with paddles. 50k mileage. Owned for past 4yrs (20k done in my ownership)

    Modifications include;

    - Cobra catback exhaust (stock cats) (fitted by previous owner)

    - K&N cold air intake (fitted by previous owner)

    - Ecutek remap by Horsham Devs ~350bhp

    - Eibach lowering springs 25mm front, 20mm rear

    - Japan Racing wheel spacers 25mm all round

    - Morimoto LED headlights with DRLs and sequential indicators

    - Evo-r 3 piece carbon fibre front lip

    - Evo-r carbon fibre side mirror caps

    - Carbon fibre duckbill spoiler

    - Flat bottomed leather steering wheel

    - GTR red starter button

    - Lsailt android unit for access to Google Playstore, android auto/apple carplay, torque, maps, Waze, spotify et al

    - LED sequential Z side marker/lights

    - LED bulbs in rear lights - reverse, indicators and number plate

    - F1 type 4th brake light, set to fog light and reverse only. Can be rewired as DRL and/or brake light as well.

    - Nextbase HD dashcam wired/install (fitted by previous owner)

    - Configurable puddle lights (fitted by previous owner)

    Service history - mix of dealer and specialists;

    - 1st 4 services done at Nissan

    - 2018 Full service done by trader I bought the car from.

    - 2019 P3 + spark plugs, diff service etc plus EBC vented discs & yellowstuff pads for the front. Car also had an ecutek tune (better traction control, multiple maps, valet mode) done at the same time (at Horsham Developments).

    - 2020 - DIY/lockdown P1 oil and oil filter change and rear discs/pads changed.

    - 2021 P3 + gearbox oil, brake fluid and coolant (at Horsham Developments).

    - 2022 P1 + rear adjustable droplinks (by Bob at TarmacSportz)

    Other specs include, mint 19" forged Rays alloy wheels (refurbished in 2020), Pirelli P Zero tyres all round, leather and alcantara heated seats, Bluetooth, voice control, Bose sound system, satnav, reversing camera, folding mirrors, cruise control, snow mode, auto lights and wipers, and dual air conditioning.

    Niggles;

    - Tiny (hardly noticeable) dent on rear arch on passenger side. It's impossible to show in photos and should pop right out. But it's never bothered me.

    - Reverse camera is fuzzy and has been ever since I added LED bulbs in the rear lights. Fix would be to remove or try different LED bulbs, but again its never bothered me, as it's still useable and the LED bulbs are amazing.

    - Slight intermittent rattle on low revs. Believed to be the heatshield or the stock cats. I planned to replace with Sports cats and another remap as the next mod...tbc.

    - Wrap on roof, front & rear valance is 4yrs old now, so looking a little tired in my opinion.

    The car drives and sounds amazing, especially with the auto rev matching on downshifts. Quick YouTube vid of a drive by -

    Will be truly sad to see it go.

    Motorway/WBAC offering £13-14k. So asking for £15500 as is. Bargain!

    DM me if interested. Offers welcome. Located in Solihull, just outside of Birmingham, West Midlands.

    Thanks for looking!

    Is the rest of your exhaust oem at the moment?

    But yeah I'd definitely reccomend a remap if you do go down the HFC route to get the best gains, and also turn off the post cat O2 sensors to eliminate the risk of them triggering the EML.

    No it's a Cobra CBE with stock cats at the moment. I'm leaning towards HFCs and a remap 👍

    Sounds like the perfect excuse to upgrade to HFCs. Cheaper than oem & decent power gains, what's not to love 😁 (unless you really don't want any increase in exhaust volume).

    It is indeed! I love the idea of the hfcs, but don't fancy an obnoxiously loud exhaust! My zeds also mapped, so imagine I'd have to remap it once the hfcs go on. Have much pondering to do!

    I have a rattling Catalyst shield on 62 plate GT Edition. I just live with it till I get HFC or replacement.

    Yeah could be the same on mine. But we had to give it a proper good whack to make it rattle while on the ramps, so assuming it's an issue inside the cat with bits breaking off?

    Will keep an eye/ear on it, see if it gets worse and will look out for some 2nd hand or deals on new cats, cos they're not cheap!

  7. Thanks all, I had a good look underneath, nothing obvious. Did notice a heat shield that rattled a fair bit. So reckon it's that and/or a gasket. Will get someone to check the exhaust thoroughly the next time it's in the garage.

    P.s Evo-r lip is on. Fits ok. Not great. A couple of big gaps either side of the carbon centre piece which I filled in with some sealant. Very happy with the looks though, compliments the mirror caps and duckbill perfectly 😎

    Have you checked the oil level?

    May need a top up or an oil change.

    I'd be surprised if it's the oil. I always keep on top of services and regular oil changes etc. But will have a check.

    I've got my front lip to install this weekend, so will get it up on ramps and have a good look underneath.

    Cheers!

    Exhaust. Get the car on a ramp/jack and take a peek under. If you can't see anything obvious, it could be a cat/cat heat shield or a blown gasket. Doesn't sound like a gasket but I'm not sure what exhaust you're running and how old the car is.

    2013MY. Cobra exhaust fitted with stock cats. It's been on ramps previously, but nothing obviously wrong visually.

    I'd say the sounds coming from right under the centre console/dash.

    Will look into the cats. Thanks.
