See my post about the drivers side door lock switch. This is effecting my passenger side door drop. Sometimes it works and other times it doesn’t

After 12 months of trying to get to the bottom of my intermittent dreaded passenger side door being unresponsive issue that is common. What I changed New motor. As everyone says it goes. Changed Now my passenger window goes up and down twice as fast as my drivers side. New passenger side door window control panel Door ajar switch. Neither did anything. And the problem persists. My drivers side control panel works fine. Window lock button works when I depress it. What was the problem. It is the bloody window lock button on the control panel. As I said it works . Depress it and it locks the window. And when it’s not depressed it works. Bar the fact the switch must be a bit iffy as when the window sticks I SLIGHTLY depress the window lock button and the window bursts into life and when i release it sticks again! As said only slightly depress it... and 9 times out of 10 it works fine. And because in opening and closing the drivers door to get in the car I cannot predict when the passenger side window will play up as it’s intermittent. As the switch usually works fine. Hopefully this will be of some help to somebody saving them changing the whole bloody power windows for nothing like I did !

That did occure to me. I had the same set up in my celica except with an app radio 3. Any ideas where you can get a replacement cubbie bar a breakers yard. One is on ebay for silly money at the moment.

I'm sure the audio from the sat nav doesn't come from the main speaks at the moment. It's very hard to hear it and sounds like it's coming from the centre dash already??

It doesn't talk about the sat nav thou? Would it still work?

Hiya, I'll apologise now if this is covered in a guide somewhere on here. I've just purchased a 06 UK 350z roadster. It has the BOSE stereo with out bluetooth/handsfree and the birdview sat nav above it. I really want to pull out the ancient BOSE and replace it with a PIONEER App radio. It was a doddle to fit in my old Celica. Just needed a some ISO adaptor leads and I was good to go.
