Well thanks to doris the wife and I may be in the market for a new car. Something that can move 3 kids and a collie-shepherd in relative comfort but still be robust. Got a 16 plate astra for when we want to arrive clean, and the zed for fun. I suggested a 2nd zed but she said no. A tree decided to lie down on the zafira, damage to a pillar and broken rear window.

Agree, most forums I've been part of would have resulted in full blown rage filled arguments. But I guess that says more about my old chavvy forums for corsas corollas colts and celicas...hmm my 1st non c forum.Hope so.Impressed with your maturity in handling the feedback and situation at such a relatively young age.Hope you get it corrected soon.

Any claims?
No I have protected no claims
No sir, that only protects your bonus
But they're protected? If i've crashed it doesnt matter, you wont put my premium up
No sir we put it up a lot then discount it a little. Have you claimed?
yes

I was on a company car and named driver for a year, direct line told me they protect it for 2 years if i go back to them. Having said that I'm with Hastings, 2 months in and so far not asked for proof of no claims, which i find odd. I'm on works insurance to drive anything booked in though.

Haha, I feel so useful. Although I've spent more time on the forum than working

Every Zed I've had in my garage has been too low for the rollers anyway. But it depends on the garages equipment, some rolling roads can do LSD and 4WD as the rollers adjust direction accordingly.

I'll second that. High miles on a well looked after car will be better that a low mileage shedDont get overly caught up on mileage, condition matters more.

With ac regas I tend to rev to 2-3k to make sure compressor is engaging and temp drops significantly. I do that on the forecourt. We road test everything that has had the wheels off.

I think all of it, then a front splitter in black

Although yours is down as being completed

Its normally down to the centre manager to contact the customer and deal with the rescue...not that i ever get complaints lol.

I wouldnt worry then mate, your new noise could be coincidence.

Sooo, you're not a porn star then...I wouldn't want to be filmed whilst doing my day job either, tbh. Nothing to hide particularly, but I may have conversations with colleagues that could easily be taken out of context or use language that could be found offensive by some.

All good valid points. I suppose if it was fitted in the way then the mot tester/garage was right to disconnect it. I also see the sense in rabbitstews comments.
Choice seems to be either have one fitted discreetly so it cannot be seen or find an alternative garage you would put 100percent trust in regardless.
I think I am biased, I know of a mechanic sacked by bmw for powersliding and driving at speed a customers m3. All caught on a discreet dashcam.
unfortunately it happens, at indi and large chains, every one employed is an individual and has the potential to be a douche. Id instantly dismiss any of my techs not respecting a customers car. I agree with rabbitstew about the tools too.

Sorry, i forgot to mention, i can do black reflective too. Black reflective glows white!I'd be interested. Got a black face lift, not sure what colour would look good lol
In that case god yes, will follow thread.
