If it's any help I've got Stillen ones on mine that I bought from Tarmac.

I was amazed by how much extra grip/feel/stability that it gives the front end at speed, does cost a little bit of drag/top end but totally worth it IMO.

    :)

Thanks, do you have any photos?

  2. Hi, has anyone purchased the 370z Canards from Tarmac? Non Nismo. I am. Tempted by them but want to see more pics, specifically from the side. Tarmac have a few pics when they were fitted to Bob's car, but not from the sides. I really am in 2 minds about them as once screwed on you are committed to them unless you want holes in your bumper.

    Thanks in advance.

They have been absolutely spot on and I can't recommend them enough.

  4. I got my 19" standard Rays refurbed again. I always liked James Oversteer's refurb and asked a local bodyshop if they could refurb mine in Xirallic black, with a diamond cut front. They look great. In the sun the sparkle really comes through.

My car is getting a full 2 day detail at the end of Aug, by in my opinion the best detailer in the South of England and the wheels will be ceramic coated.

Sorry James for copying the idea, yours are graphite though so they are different :)

Great outcome  when I got mine a few years back when they first started up they were super supportive, good to see they haven't lost that.

Yeah really impressed with them, they said their mats have changed slightly due to customer feedback, so they aren't as thick, but the heel plate is larger. Sounds ideal to me.

  6. Update, I contacted them directly, just with a query around having the heal plate moved forward to avoid the issue reoccurring. They told me they can weld it anywhere, so happy to move and they then said that if I cover the postage £5.99 they would send a free replacement.

Their customer service has been spot on and their product is great. It is a very good to see companies who value customer service as much as their product.

  7. Update on this, being an auto my heal is typically in one place and it has worn through the spaghetti type rubber, it looks worn so will try and get a replacement, but it's still protecting the carpet, it's just aesthetically not as I want it.

  8. Hi,

As per this post I am getting my OEM part skinned. I mentioned to them today that my OEM part has broken clips and he said he could make a mold of the part and make a full carbon replacement with the 3 clips. He said it would take a bit of time etc to do it and for me the cost of the skinning is the maximum I would pay for a B-pillar.

If anyone is interested in a pair of full carbon replacements you would need to supply your OEM part for him to make the mold. He said he will offer a discounted carbon replacement in return. He has said he could do them for £300, could maybe do £250 in a group buy, but that would require 10 sets being committed to. He is looking at the G2 Carbon full replacements at $450 as a comparable item. If anyone is interested let me know and I'll put you in contact with him.

I will post pics of my skinned part when I get it back so it gives people an idea of his work.

  9. I'll post up once it is done. I don't really want to say anything until it's done.

What I will say is he is taking about making full replacements, not just covers or skin of OEM part. He needs covers though to make a mold and in return would offer a discounted full carbon replacement. For me the skinning is the max I would pay for that part.

  10. I'm having my B-pillar trims carbon skinned, it will cost less than the Nismo stick on covers and should look better. I'll post up pictures once I have had them done, but I am sending them off tomorrow so won't be too long.

  11. I ordered the Evo-r Carbon one from Torqen on Saturday, just have to wait for it to be made and then shipped. I think it is the best option, they do a FRP version, which if gloss black I would have bought, but it's a flat black finish. Torqen only added it to their website on Saturday, so if you have been looking for one, you may not have seen it before.

I love the colour, my calipers are BMW Austin Yellow and it suits them perfectly, in my opinion they look ok on your wheels, I wouldn't have it, but the colour of the car pulls them off, I think gloss black calipers would look better, but fair play for going for something different.

  13. I always felt the steering wheel let the Zed down a bit, after the Mrs bought her Merc, with it's flat bottom wheel I wanted one.

I found this one for a bargain price, it looks and feels amazing. It is such an improvement and strangely the car feels better to drive with it.

  14. Wanted a diffuser for a while and these seem the only 2 sites to stock the Fujimura diffuser, which I am led to believe is a better fit than the Evo-r version. So few options regarding 370z diffusers and don't know whether I want to risk either of these sites until I do a bit of research.

What sort of style do people like ?

Personally like the Evo-r or Fujimura one.

They only. Seem to be available from China, Japan or US and then you are talking a lot of money. I'd be happy with a PU or FRP version, doesn't have to be carbon, but it needs to fit properly.
