Just been to check the dates, sadly (not really!) I'll be away on honeymoon. SO and I get married late June, then heading straight out hope to make it next year though.
Fair excuse! Haha. Well I hope all the planning is goong well and you have a great time! I guess there is always Simply Jap at Beaulieu.

Bit late to seeing this thread! Car looks really great mate. Spoiler is awesome
Thanks mate, appreciate that. You going to Goodwood FOS again this year? I might end up following you again if you do Haha

Got it from a member on here. It was a carbon signal spoiler, bonded onto the original. I just had to swap
my original for this.
-
That looks great, really good work!

I’ve got K&N’s, they seem fine, nothing really changed in performance between them and stock. They are a very tight fit and take some squeezing in.

Fog light is the same output as a brake light, in 99% of cases.
True, but the ones I have seen online in the US for example have the sidelight being the red leds in a dim mode and the brake light using the same leds in a brighter output.
I guess if the brake light was the dimmer output, but when fog was on the fog was bright and overrode the brake light then that would work, as most of the time the fog light would never be on.

MY 3 iN 1 LIGHT,is brake/reverse and fog light, just got it wired this week while it was in for a service.
Would love to see what happens if the fog is on and you then brake. Its the part that has confused me. Haha. I assume in this case the brake light is the brighter one.
-
I want to get one, but would love it ideally to be a brake, reverse and fog combo, this can't really happen as I appreciate they use the same bulbs and no idea which would override the other.
i think I will have to go with side/fog and reverse. To be honest just want the reverse light to be brighter so this would help, could keep it as just fog and reverse

The LED unit is a fog and reverse light so no trouble for MOTs
Its just how he has said its wired, as a brake light, rear light and reverse. I took rear light to side light, not fog light.
-
Thanks, so no fog light any more. Will it get through an MOT?
-
Love this, been tempted with one of these. How has yours been connected up? Assume it is side light, fog and reverse or do you have it as a brake light too?

I recently went on holiday and dropped the car off at a bodyshop on the way to get the front bumper sprayed with the black plastic parts sprayed in xirallic black, tarmacsportz skirts in xirallic black and 3 piece front splitter, with the middle part xirallic black and side pieces colour coded and then Dal_b's old carbon signal duckbill spoiler resprayed in xirallic black and all parts fitted. In addition I got the calipers stripped of the knackered green paint and resprayed in a new colour. I think it looks more agressive, yet still subtle enough. Excuse the dirt it needs a clean!

I am led to believe Carbon Wurks do. They specialise in Mercedes and BMW, but are open to projects.
-
There is a company local to
me called carbon wurx and they do a lot of bits for A45 AMG Mercs, they said they could do 370z bits, but need 10-15 people
to commit per item. I had asked them about a rear diffuser. Problem is they produce a CAD drawing, then use CNC tooling to ensure the finished product is a perfect fit, they say the tooling costs are thousands. But they have also said if 10-15 can commit they can get near or beat the fly 1 costs and obviously a big postage saving.

I was lucky enough to be able to buy some new TS side steps and 3 piece front splitter for the 370z from a member on here a little while back. They haven't been used and are as new, but didn't come the fitting instructions.
I am getting them painted soon and they are going to fit them once done, but I'd like to be able to give them the fitting instructions. Does anybody have these. As I didn't buy them from Tarmac Sportz directly I think it would be cheeky to ask them directly.
Thanks

Looks stunning, I saw the collection picture on their instagram feed and thought lucky bloke! Stunning car, love that exhaust!

Same here, car is in need of a clean, but ran out of time, it'll probably rain anyway so not too fussed. Will drive straight to Beaulieu from Poole, would have met up with you guys in Ferndown but 7am is too early for me haha. See you down there.
-
Thanks Gareth, I'm booked in with you on 26th July.
-
How do you check the oil pressure on the 370z? I think I might have this issue as idle is a bit erratic, car is 2010 so falls in the age range of affected cars. I'm down in Poole and it is a it of a trek to get the pressure read. I'd happily visit for the work if it did have the issue though. Thanks.

I think it was £9.99 of ebay.
cheers
And it worked? Thats amazing! I thought it had to be coded to the car/headunit so ebay jobbies wouldnt work.
