  1. I have a lot of speed humps where I live, some of which are quite high & I've not had any issues with the Ark system so far. I do tend to only go over them on one side of the car though, just in case.
  2. Hi Clark Motorsport, I collected my new Z today, whilst looking through the paperwork was an invoice for just over £700 for an organic clutch you fitted back in February this year. Surprised as I was it had been done at what I now know to be a forum sponsor, also glad it's a job I don't need to worry about for a while, if I PM you the invoice details are you able to tell me the brand of the clutch that was fitted. I can't seem to see it on the invoice. Regards Chris. PS: The clutch is quite an 'on / off' but more than manageable in operation .
  3. Go on then I'll take one if they're still up for grabs . All black Z for me please, no colours .
  4. After a bit of Googling, I see the thread pitch is M10x1.25. The internet seems full of gearknobs in this size, but I'm guessing they don't all come with the collar to go under the knob to ensure the gaitor sits tightly at the base of the knob. I'm not looking to spend a lot on a new gearknob to be honest, just a satin chrome one would do the job, maybe a round one, or something like this. Any thoughts?
  5. I found the durability claim of GTechniq G1 a bit generous, upto 2 years. Initially it's therapeutic to see the beads flying off the screen at low speed, but after 6 months you need to be driving considerably faster. A bit like a wax, it does wear off, but too quickly.
  6. Would I too be able to get a set of these for my new, not yet received Z? Chris.
  7. Thanks to both of you. The only reason I asked was various places sell them, but only a few say they're for the 06-09 cars. I also saw these on the Torqen website, but the fixings look different. I was kind of hoping they'd fit as I can order them direct from nissan through work.
  8. Hi, I'm looking to get a pair of these for my new Z, but everywhere I look it says they're for the 2006-09 cars. Did the bumper change? Cheers Chris
  9. Thanks all, I downloaded Datascan, I still have the blue VAGCOM lead so will give it a try .
  10. The yellow one got lots spent on her, I just couldn't get att'd to the silver one as much as the yellow one. Bank balance won't be an issue when it comes to making things better. We all like to put our own stamp on things. If we all made the same mods it'd make things boring, right? .
  11. Whilst I await the collection of my 350Z, is there such software available that can be installed onto a laptop & used with the relevant cables to access everything on the car? ABS, PAS, airbags etc? I found the Peugeot Planet software a godsend for my coupe, just wandered if the Z had something similar. Regards Chris
  12. Thanks for the warm welcome everyone . Not externally, less is more on the 406 coupe. My first one was a yellow V6, apart from the air filter, scoop, decat Tony Banks exhaust there was only a few subtle interior mods to both coupes. My current one is a silver V6 that's already sold:
  13. Hi everyone, Just thought I'd introduce myself as I'll be picking my 350Z up next Saturday. I'm Chris from Manchester, currently own a Peugeot 406 Coupe & am Club Secretary for the 406 Coupe Club. I'd been looking at the 350Z & S2k for a while, but opted for a Z instead. It's a 2005 in silver with the 6 spoke (non Rays) alloys in excellent condition, silver with the GT pack & reversing sensors. I had a nosey underneath it before the test drive & surprising has an Ark Grip system on it . The test drive was somewhat, quite fun . During next week it's having the bumper sprayed as there's some lacquer peel, along with the wing mirror covers. It's my first RWD car, my first Jap car, so it's a new learning curve for me.. Gives me an excuse to buy mods & other stuff. It'll be my daily driver & mods will slowly happen, not extreme ones, I like subtle things . Thanks, Chris.
