Due to slightly ridiculous circumstances I have ended up owning two OEM Tonneau Covers, so I've decided to sell one as sadly I only have one 350Z... :-) These are seemingly very rare and from what I gather quite sort after. I believe that they were an extra costing about £150 from Nissan before they were discontinued. The item comes complete with a full mounting kit and fitting instructions. Selling for £75 + P&P (which I assume would be about £10). Fitted:

KyleR - I'll certainly try Nuluk for a quote at least. The only people I've spoken to so far has been 'Alloy Wheels Repair NI' who do do diamond cutting, but say that they wouldn't do it on ones as badly corroded as mine (I didn't think they were that bad!), as they would just start to corrode again within 8 months... Have you found this to be an issue Shezza? Unfortunately they just want to powder coat the lot, which is not what I'm after as I want them to look like they're meant to. Canavans Autocentre put a full stainless Cobra exhaust on my old '91 VW Scirocco GTII many years ago. The quality of their work is good and they have a great rep. Maybe I'll get a quote from them also...

Thanks Shezza, that has be very helpful. That sounds like a serious job with the centre caps, but as you say they seem to be out of production so sourcing new ones seems unlikely...

To be honest if it's a choice between just removing and spraying the little handle or having to spray the entire dash just in order to clean up the light scratches on the cubby door fascia, I would grin and bare those and just do the handle. I don't really have the appetite for a big job on this as the current state of play isn't too bad. I'll maybe try and undo the screws on the back of the door and see what i'm dealing with when I get back from London. Not sure if the door fascia is even removable or what? I presume it is if people are talking about removing the little handle in order to spray it.

Thanks for all the responses. I take it when people are talking about 'spray painting' they are referring only to the handle area (after taking it out)? I can only imagine that spraying the whole fascia would have disastrous looking results, as it would be surely near impossible to get a good match with the surrounding dash. I think I will probably give this a go (for the handle) with some matt black spray, and maybe also apply a little to the area in the photo below. As for the scrapes on the door fascia itself, I presume there is no good way to clean these up? They are obviously fairly minor, but given that they are very much in your line of sight I would be keen to trying something. I reckon my only option for that might to see if I can find a cleaner one than mine in a breakers yard somewhere.

Cheers KyleR. I joined that FB group. I never realised that the carbon was aftermarket. I've seen it on other ones (online) and just thought it may have been factory on some of the later ones.

Fair enough. I just get the impression that all this was done at the point of original sale, rather than afterwards. Though can't be certain of course. Other than the standard GT Pack, it seems to have 19" Nismo LMGT4 wheels, Nismo exhaust system, Nismo gear knob, Nismo bonnet decal, Nismo boot badge, aluminium entry guards, tinted rear windows,and the top of the rear strut & interior door handles are a carbon fibre style, rather than the original colour. It has rear parking sensors too, but I presume that most of the later models had this. And a Bluetooth adapter, which I have yet to conquer.

They (Charles Hurst Nissan) charged £200 all-in in the end; which was actually slightly less than they said it would be on the phone, and they also did a 29-point traffic-light style check on the car into the bargain. The key itself is expensive for them to order. They then have to cut it to match, and reprogram the two keys and the car all to the same frequency (which apparently involved removing part of the underside of the drivers dash). Then add VAT.

Now we're talking! They look like an excellent job, I must say. Do you know if the spokes were painted or powder coated? If you don't mine me asking, what was the approx cost for the 4 wheels? The guy I spoke to did identify the centre caps as an issue and said I may need to source replacements as they couldn't diamond cut them. As you can see from the picture, mine aren't in great shape. When you say that you polished them, what do you mean. I presume they didn't look as bad as mine at that point?

Just wondering if there is any good patch-up jobs for a marked dashboard cubby door like mine. A previous owner has presumably scratched up the handle with their nails, and the owner before me said that he scraped the area around the handle by using the wrong vacuum attachment while cleaning. Does anyone have any tips or suggestions, or would it be better to try and source and fit a replacement door?

Hello my fellow Zedders, I'm new to the forum but have read plenty on here over the last few months which has proved helpful. Just here to introduce myself... I'm a Belfast (N.Ireland) based owner of an '07 Nissan 350Z 'NISMO edition' (but not a '350Z NISMO'...). So far I've done a few bits and pieces: - Driver-side wishbone 'banana arm' had to be replaced when I bought it (knocking sound from the faulty bushing) - OEM Tonneau Cover installed - Aluminium Vent Trims fitted (Thanks Asad!) - Replacement spare key ordered from Nissan (ouch £££) Still to do: - Hazard Warning Lights not working (but managed to pass the MOT last week ok without them) - Fit OEM clear front reflectors - Replace cracked passenger-side sun-visor mirror - Refurbish wheels (Spring or after) - Investigate Bluetooth phone call issues.

Does anyone have any experience refurbing a set of the 19" Rays Forged LMGT4 G35 wheels (i.e. the stock NISMO ones). As you can see they're not awful, but they are presumably 10 years old now and only going to get worse. The reason I ask is that when speaking to Nissan they said that the difficulty with these wheels is that they are obviously part painted (spokes) but the rims, center caps, and the surrounding area (where the bolts go in) has a 'diamond cut' finish. I have also sourced what look to be the exact replacement decals required (which would unfortunately be stripped off as part of any refurb): http://www.ebay.co.u...=STRK:MEBIDX:IT I obviously want these to remain as stock as possible and not end up looking like a slightly botched copy, which presumably having them just fully powder coated would do... Any tips?
