  1. Trouble is I have cut this one now
  2. Okay so I have been fitting lots of mishimoto parts, the alloy rad and shroud kit went in just fine, the oil cooler kit hoses need to be cut as they were far to long( bit of a pain as I thought it was a direct fit), now the bottom hose from the hose kit wont fit, it just fouls the AC pump ( I might even take that out at some point ) so i've had to cut the hose at the bottoma little and not push the top part of the hose fully onto the thermostat, do you guys think this will be okay? Thanks Alistair
  3. Ps I'm trying to find a tool on ebay but I cant find the right one, would you be able to post a link to a tool I can buy? thanks
  4. So its okay to leave pipes from the ac rad and the pipes that attach to the pump, that would be better as I could replace pump and rad if I wanted to sell car later
  5. So im getting my car ready for its first track day, i have just fitted a new rad, oil cooler etc, now im think while im doing all this i should remove the ac rad and the ac pump, can i just pull the ac rad out and leave the pipes there and if I remove the pump do I need to put some kind of blanking plate where it was? I rarely use this car so I don't see the point of AC as you know its never hot enough here in the uk anyway

  10. So called ceramic coatings are the most durable coatings on the market, but I wouldn't believe all the hype regarding ceramic coatings, they do have much better durability than the usual polymer sealants, a lot are marketed with fancy names and wording to make out they are some amazing hard coating, talk of curing and the need to wet sand them off which I have found to be rubbish, the claims that they last 5 years + are also rubbish,at the end of the day all coatings are just a microscopic layer on your car, the key to keeping your car looking good for longer is a regular safe wash procedure followed by applying a wax/ sealant on a regular basis, you could protect a new car with a cheaper wax and along side that do a good regular wash procedure and it will look better then any car a year later that's had a ceramic coating and a poor wash procedure during its year.

Thanks Alistair

  16. I'm looking to replace my pads, been searching around and the ds2500 seem to be popular, but somebody I know said they will eat through your discs really quick, any advice would be great, yes I know its a old thread

  20. I went for the day, my first jap show and I'm a bit disappointed tbh took some cash hoping there would be some decent stuff for sale, all there seemed to be was sticker stalls or clothes, the odd stall selling gearnobs. The shows I used to go to would have everything you need from wheels to alloy rads, diffs etc etc and even a second hand auto jumble that breakers sett up.
