If the isr is a bit too much I’ll do you a swap for my aam comp? you’ve heard mine I believe.
Absolutely love the reference that’s what mine currently sounds like with cold starts in the morning, the three neighbours dogs do not appreciate me going to work 😂

make sure you get flame rings, I’ve been through so many gaskets on mine 😂

bumper tuck all the way! because nowhere seems to do single exit bumpers because us singles are apparently rarer 🤔 I just tech screwed mine up

thanks. It’s an Agency Power Titanium single exit. If it’s too loud I’ll prob punt it on and put towards the trip to Mainland for mapping etc.

  2. I was in same boat as yourself for a while. Managed to get a used Agency Power Single and Y Pipe. I’m fitting it in the spring, with my decats I’ve a feeling it will be just too loud even for a weekend/banter car so I’ll advertise it here if I decide to sell it on

Lots to ask, but... Turns out I'm stupid and I assumed V-power is as standard as in UK and Europe... Just tuned my Z at Horsham this week on RON 99 from shell, wanted to make sure I make it for the bash...

Now, came all the way from ldn, and can't find shell petrol station??

Apparently they only have diesel and 95 here!!!! What???

Is there anyone with any connections to source stock 350z ECU in Ireland (best in close proximity to Mondello Park) ?

I can't even express how awesome that would be!

Place in loughbrockland in Newry does 99ron. Only place here. Owner has a high tuned GTR so brings it into his garage specially and offers at pumps

Yes it does but not as much as I would like.

meant to ask how do you find the seat itself? is it a very narrow seat ?

    I'm 5'11 with a 36-38" waist, & I'm concerned about fitting lol

Yes. I just mounted the subframe in the original mounting position and dry fitted the seat.
I then marked  the position and then drilled/fixed the seat.

Cool cool thanks for the reply. Will look at this then, I’m assuming seat sits lower than oem ?

just quick bump on this. did you ever come to a conclusion and get sorted here? Ive been offered a very cheap set of accord type r recaros, would need re-trim etc etc but not going to do it if the seat position is too high.

I don't mind the bolted to floor option as the car is a fun weekend thing.

    Thanks guys

I think the noise will P you off quick time pal. I'm definitely a fan of finding a personal set up however, as that's what took me years and years to come by 👍

I think I’ll know pretty quick, car is literally just an occasional weekend and meet car and maybe just change between the systems when I fancy it.

  9. so slight update inbound, was going to wait until install but can't hold my water.

The Milltek is a great system and when paired with decats its a nice balance. But I wanted something with a little more 'personality'

A used Agency Power titanium single exit exhaust popped up online and included a Stillen true Y pipe (currently running a cobra 2 into 1 Y pipe)

This system will be paired with the decats and I expect it to sound similar to when Thor called down lightning on Helena in Thor Ragnorak.

Ive been in touch with Horsham about coming over and getting an UpRev with multiple maps etc, so that will most likely be march time when boats from NI are a little cheaper (you fellas who live local don't know how lucky you are!)

just need to sort some new gaskets and will get the system installed as car is currently sorted for winter.

Would like thoughts, do I bumper tuck or not?? I won't be drilling the bumper but using the tie wrap method instead so it's reversible

  10. Hey Everyone

Looking some guidance on this. Early 2022 I'm planning on finally sorting a map for my car. Tough thing is I am based here in Northern Ireland.

Only real option is a generic Celtic Tuning ecu flash map, which I am no keen on

I would either be getting boat into Liverpool or Stranraer from Belfast, don't mind a semi sensible drive lol, but what are my options.

Plans would be to drive over, kip for the night and sort the map etc out, then drive home etc.

    Thanks in advance

  11. so i'd this up for sale for a few weeks as I'd decided I didn't need 2 project's and was going to put more into my ae86

But as people came to view the zed I realised that I was going to be waaaaay sad to sell it lol. Then fate decided that someone made me a MENTAL offer on the ae86 (ireland loves its ae86's) and off it went to a new home.

So the zed lives on and I'm pretty happy about it!!

Plans are new brake discs into 2022 as the Mtec ones (less than 5k on them) are badly warped, and even after they where machine skimmed (again showing how badly they where warped) they still aren't right after another 1k. I'm putting it down to below par quality etc.

Looking at stoptech or similar to replace. Im toying with switching out the miltek for something with a little more 'personality' although with the Y pipe and decals the miltek sings rightly on WOT but the itch of a big ignorant single exhaust is there lol....

video of the miltek on WOT

after this the tires are going to be switched out to the new TOYO T1r's (had them on the '86 and was seriously impressed with grip and feel)

From here plan is few mondello international trackways into next summer.
