Unfortunately after 2 great years of zed ownership, we parted ways at the weekend. I'm still devasted about it but as my dad says there will always be another. Anyway I've now got the task of finding something with back seats for the little one and also some power so I'm going to look at a Mazda 3 MPS at the weekend. Anyone had any dealing with one? Am I barking up the wrong tree? Thanks

Big thanks to Chris at Tarmac Sportz for sorting me out with the new wheels. I had TSW Thruxtons on previously so they had to go! I went for Ultralite r5's now and I think they really set the car off now.
-
Haha have to agree with you. The Thruxtons were on the car when I bought it and I had always planned on changing so I suppose this will give me a kick in the right direction.

For those who aren't aware, the roads in n.ireland are currently in a shocking state with potholes everywhere. I recently ploughed into one and busted the front passenger alloy. I've got TSW Thruxtons fitted to the car which are now discontinued which has left me in a bit of a pickle as I'm finding it impossible to source one single replacement. The car is currently on a space saver and off the road until I get this sorted but it looks like I'll have to get a full set of new wheels. Is it worth claiming off the road service for a new set of wheels? I've been genuinely inconvenienced by it but not sure how best to proceed. Cheers

Thanks for the advice lads. Currently back in London so trying to get it sorted from over the water is proving a painful process!

Ok thanks I'll have a look. Hopefully that's all it is.

How did you get to that conclusion? I don't even know where to start looking?

Flew back home to Ireland after 10 weeks away to put the zed through the MOT. For those who aren't aware, the MOT is much more stringent in northern Ireland compared with England. Anyway, I got into the car and the airbag light was flashing again. This happened a few times before so I had already researched and found a video which suggested turning the ignition 4 times. This got the light off until I was at the MOT centre and was asked to turn the car off, at which point the airbag light decided it would be a nice time to come back on. And the poor zeds' fate was sealed. The problem is I can't get this light off now, it only stays off until I turn the car on again and then it comes back on. Is there a more permanent fix?

Bump. £120 ono -
Just a few photos from when my friend brought his GTR over. Beautiful car, can't get over how beefy they look in the flesh. Makes my zed look very very tame lol

Selling a pair of Invidia 60mm Test Pipes for 350z DE. They have covered roughly 1000 miles but I've had to take them out to get the car through the MOT. The reason I'm selling is because unfortunately I'm also selling my zed, so I don't see the point in putting them back in. They sound immense, I was shocked when I went for a drive after fitting the cats back in at just how tame she sounded, if not a bit sad also. They are in perfect working order, if a little discoloured due to the heat I presume. #UPDATE# Will now take £100 delivered. Thanks.

Seen this parked down the road from my house, lovely white 350z with Nismo goodies. Anyone recognise? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

All solid advice lads. It's definitely a game changer, I thought about the weekend car but as you say gangzoom, time is precious and I find I don't go many places without the little one now. I've had a lot of outgoings recently in preparation for the baby so my budget can't stretch any further than the zed. I like the idea of upgrading her Hatch and using that for runs. A few good suggestions there, the Monaro and s4 avant I hadn't thought about. What about running costs of an evo compared to the zed? It might be out of my budget at the minute. I'll go have a scan through the classifieds and see what I can find. I don't think I could follow through with selling though, I'm still in the honeymoon phase! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

1 month after I purchased my zed last year I found out my girlfriend was expecting our first child. Fast forward 9 months and the little guy is a week old today. People joked all year that I would be driving a zafira by now, but I simply shrugged it off and said no, the zed isn't going anywhere, we will get by. But only now is the shear unpracticality of the zed starting to rear its ugly head! My girlfriend drives a little clio which i dont think has much life left in it. Now I'm actually considering looking elsewhere. Like everyone, I have a bucket list of cars which I would like to own in my life, and the next one I was planning to buy anyway was a dc2 integra. But the lack doors is putting me off. How have people coped with 2 door cars and babies? I can't go full zafira so I'm looking for a compromise 😂 Thoughts? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Welcome along. If you have it up for sale yet could you pm me what kind of money you are considering for it as my brother is on the look out for an FN2 but I have a feeling this might be a bit over his budget. It's a lovely example Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Went out to the car this morning and found the airbag light wouldn't turn off until I found this video and it worked. So I'll just resurface this incase someone else may need it soon. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I actually won a free carbon clean a few weeks back. He done it once for 30 mins and then we took it a drive, then done it for another 30 mins after. I had no intention of getting it done in the first place due to always using super and giving it a blow out every now and again, but since I won it I thought why not. I don't know if it was all in my head but It did feel like the car was a bit more responsive and seemed to pull a bit better in the higher gears. Suppose every car will react a bit different. Just throwing in my sixpence. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
