The rattle is coming from inside the pipe itself. They just bolt on via an ugly jubilee clip. I wondered if different tips gave different sounds.

Fitted an excellent condition used Cobra cat back system to my Z a few months ago. Sounds excellent but I've just noticed that one of the bolt-on end pipes has developed a rattle. Im assuming that i can buy the end pipes from Cobra so what's the best end pipes to buy? This is what I have at the moment.

Nice car I've had 2 x R33 GTST's and a 33 GTR well. Sold the last GTST and bought the Z instead. I love the Z but I have to admit I do miss the turbo kick Not a big fan of the chavvy BOV's. Too many little boys in their Subaru's have them but hey.......each to their own eh?

Just bought a Dodo Juice clay bar kit and I'm amazed at the tiny piece of clay that came with it. Can anyone recommend a decent size clay bar and the best place to get it from? After reading a few reviews on EBay I found out that there are 3M clay bar copies out there !!

Blimey - that sounds easy. What Alpine unit did you go for? Is it a neat fit? Would you recommend Halfords for this? Alpine CDE-W235BT. They also ordered a cable for the steering wheel controls. It has an auxiliary function as well as an iPhone setting too. I just stream my music via Bluetooth. Easy peasy

Your headlights look great mate. Did you clean them before you tinted them? Where did you get them tinted?

I did search for about 10 mins but came up blank. Got @*!# loads to do today so it was quicker in the end to ask. Maybe someone should do a write-up and make it a sticky at the beginning of the Styling page?

Got a bit of the dreaded mist on the top part of my headlights. Has anyone rubbed their's down with the fine grit papers etc? I've seen a few You Tube clips but need to buy the whole kit.

Recently bought a set of 20mm and 25mm hub centric spacers for my Z. I fitted the rears with no problem but when i got to fitting the fronts i found that the hand brake adjuster was in the way and the hub centric spacer wouldn't fit on. Well i'm assuming it's the hand brake adjuster. I've not read anything like on here regarding fitting front spacers so have i got different hubs? Any ideas anyone?

I will replace them with new ones but I want to fit the spacers and wheels asap but don't want to have to put it all back together again cos the oem bolts don't fit. I bought some internal drive bolts for my Skyline from Driftworks. Wondered if they would fit the Z/Rays as well.

Just bought a set of Ray's for the Z. I'm replacing the OEM touring alloys so can I use the existing wheel nuts or do I have to replace them? Thanks

Halfords have just fitted an Alpine head unit and cable for the steering wheel controls. Works fine and its Bluetooth so the phone works through it and I can stream my music through it as well. Cost me £150 fitted.

My Z only came with the front 2 speakers. The rear speaker pods are there but empty and the panel were the sub should be is blank. If I bought the sub frame, could I, in theory, fit another bass speaker into the frame and fit it into the blank panel? Or is the original place for the sub pretty naff. I was wondering if this was a viable idea and what size diameter bass speaker I'd need.
